Though he is too small to be a decisive midfielder but I made the same mistake with Barella and look how he is playing. We have to try him here, he wouldn't do worse than the likes of Ramsey or Rabiot.

Do we have the rights to break their loan stint midway through the season or is it the other clubs' call?
probably neither and there has to be some sort of negotiation. But I’m pretty sure Genoa isnt gonna play hardball with a player they don’t even own. It’ll be easier to get Rovella than any other mid on another club.

Of course they dont gift him back because we made a stupid 2 year deal. Like with Spina and Atalanta.

It wasnt a two year deal tho. Last season was only one season loan deal, we supposed to taken him back, was confusion if he staying in Genoa or leaving well into pre season. Their coach and his agent kept saying up to Juve. We didn't have any plan for him and seemed to just said stay another season. So it wasn't a fixed 2 season loan. More like two different dry loans after another.

definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Nicolò Rovella for a consideration of € 18 million payable in three financial years; this consideration might be increased up to a maximum of € 20 million upon achievement of further performance objectives over the duration of the employment contract with the player. The contract also envisages the temporary disposal to Genoa of the registration rights of the player until 30 June 2022. Juventus and the player have signed a 4-year contract of employment until 30 June 2024

Seems like it was the plan all along, but also dependent on our midfield situation. Maybe he would have arrived if the Locatelli deal was not done.
