What type of player is he? For those who have seen him more

Is he a deeper player or more of a miretti type
He’s more a playmaker, his definitive position hasn’t been found yet. He played as a AM at a younger age, got converted into a regista at U19/U23, last year at Cremonese he played all kind of roles but from what I’ve seen he was most successful when he was close to the box.

Miretti is more of a natural box to box player imo, more a true 8.

The good thing is that both are players who naturally think forward

In this case Fagioli looks to me like a young version of Romas Pellegrini - a creative mid who could play both in midfield trio or as lone AM. He was also tried at regista when in primavera and sometimes even in his senior times he still plays there.

Miretti, creative mezzala.
I think Miretti is more of a trequartista whos better at making runs, while Fagioli is better as a mezzala and is a little more balanced (better defender) and looks more to make plays for others. It’s like Modric vs De Bruyne (not saying they’re anywhere near that level, just their style of play)

He should be given a chance to show what he can do next. Because if he’s half as good as Miretti has been this season (so far) we have another homegrown, young Italian that can hopefully stay with us for years…and will give us a chance to unload our trash again next season.

Loca Paredes Pogba, if this is Allegris go to lineup, Miretti and Fagioli (eventually once he gets a run of games) have to be next up. McKennie is not a footballer and Rabiot will leave in 9 months

I’d love to see a 4312 while Chiesa and Pogba are out; Loca-Paredes-Fagioli with Miretti up front. Can bring Rabiot on if they have a lead to protect.

We have so many new Marchisio’s here to grow and foster I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it, I’m about to lose control and I think I like it.
If Miretti doesn’t become at least better than Marchisio I would be disappointed
