Shame it didnt turn out for him. He really hasnt had a proper chance under motta. Anyway, i hope he does well...i still think he has something good to offer.
I think quite the opposite. He had his chance at the beginning of the season when Koopmeiners and Thuram were still unsettled and injured. Unfortunately, he didn't take it and fell to the bottom of the pecking order behind McK and DL.

Yeah, he was atrocious those few times he played this season.
I wouldn't surprise me if he ends up doing well for Fiorentina though. I could still see him doing well in a functioning team.

He's not & most probably never will be good enough to be(come) an undisputed starter for a team like Juve. Problem is you could say the same for pretty much the entire squad we have right now. And a lot of those players are much more expensive than Fagioli was.

Fagioli, Farewell to Juventus

The time has come to say goodbye.
It’s always hard to leave a place where you’ve always felt at home, where teammates and people have become friends over the years.
These have been 11 fantastic years.
11 years of pure passion and pure love.
They flew by!

I’ve been lucky enough to train and play with players who have made history in football and for this club, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Buffon, Chiellini, Dybala, Bonucci, Di Maria, Marchisio, Barzagli, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Juan, Tek—and I apologize if I’ve forgotten anyone.

I want to thank all the coaches who have trained me from when I was a boy up until now.
In particular, I want to thank Coach Pirlo, who gave me my debut, and Coach Allegri, who gave me the opportunity to establish myself in this jersey.

I also want to thank the club and all the directors who have worked during these years at Juve.

A huge thank you goes to all the people who work behind the scenes, like the kit managers, doctors, physiotherapists, press staff, team managers, and fitness trainers, who I am and will always be fond of.

And finally, I want to sincerely thank all Juventus fans.
They have always supported me, even when, as you know, I wasn’t going through good times.
I am eternally grateful to them.

And as President Andrea Agnelli always told me... FINO ALLA FINE

Lol what?

This is like Pinocchio saying he's real boy when he's still made of wood.

Would be funny after all of this, if he comes back in the summer because Fiorentina couldn't meet their sporting objectives and didn't want him.

Odds may be low, but who fancies a punt?

He probably bet that he would go to Fiorentina and not Marseille.
Another mediocre player gone . His greatest weakness was that he was easily dispossed by stronger players and he didn't seem that he wanted to improve on this.
The problem is that we seem to replace mediocre players with underperforming ones or other that are the same as fagioli.
