You judge the whole of England's football commentators/writers/pundits, on your own small niche of expore to them, troll...which is fair enough. But it does not change my opinion, based on my experience and knowledge, which is obviously different to yours.
There are few countries in the world who can match England when it comes to passion for the game. Brazil...is an obvious one, but others??? And if a sport is massively the number one sport in a country, then it follows, logically, that that country will have more people interested in, and aware of, the game, than other countries.
There is a reason why the premiership is the richest in the world, the most valuable product. Because of the market there...the stadiums...the widespread fervour for football. Which simply isn't matched in most other countries. Its a shame this deep rooted passion for the game doesn't lead to english footballers starring more regularly in international competition...but still, I have answered you with facts. and can do no more...Trolls and goblins rarely find common ground, so its best I just agree to differ.
Added to this obvious reason for us to lock horns...i must ask, of course, how much time you have spent in england in your life, troll??? How much exposure to english football supporters and pundits and commentators, have you had??? other than online????

Football reporters will generally consider it their job to know about English football, not football at large.
Of course there are a few exceptions (the serious papers tend to have one resident reporter who knows more broadly about the game), but most pundits are pretty narrow minded and some are borderline xenophobic.
Chelsea v Inter this year was a classic example.
Most pundits were baffled, even when coached by Mourinho, that nobodies like Maicon, Samuel, Cambiasso and Sneijder could give Chelsea a game, never mind beat them.
Purely due to ignorance of foreign leagues.

At least I hope that we can all agree that the yanks, presently, are somewhat lagging behind in terms of football knowledge! Gorgeously hot summer, but still seasonal changes. if you were used to the shingle/glass/syringe/shit/piss/blood/tin can beaches of England, then you would likely find even St Kilda beach, something delightful, mate! Just a shame that in summer there are so many english there...I've spent some time in Queensland over the years, as my old man lives in hervey bay. As you say the coastline has beautiful beaches, the water is warm-ish, and its only really sharks to worry about, but I get a bit bored without the dirtiness and liveliness of the City. i guess I simply need more people to play with, than nature...
