See, the TADS is the Target Aqusition and Designation Sight, it is the laser, which is the whole lower part under the PNVS.

The PNVS is the Pilot Night Vision System, the night and day sides of the TADS correspond with the "day TV" which allows the pilot to use the dayside to see through smoke and stuff during the day, and also the nightside allows a similar system, but the front seat, the co-pilot/gunner uses it to look for targets, etc. Both systems use a laser aquisition system.

Gotta love the country side

I was out driving with my mother on our quest to find a Christmas tree, when we suddenly found our path blocked by a Fennek; one of the Dutch army's latest toys. It's been developed in co-operation with the Germans (so you can be sure it's indestructable) and apparently much bigger/fiercer than the Humvee, which has been used up until 2003.

Still wasn't big enough. Mum got out of the car, yelled at the soldiers: "Would you mind parking that piece of trash somewhere else, tough guys?"

I love my mummy :weee:

Holland has an army ???!!!!;)
