Milan is not playing very well against Chievo at the Bentagodi at the moment. They are winning 1-0, however the Donkeys have already hit the post once and have come close other times. The passing through midfield by Milan looks horrendous compared to their usual..

Once again playing down to the level of their competition.

Sometimes I get the feeling that Milan has a difficult time getting motivated and interested in playing Serie A minnows. Like they're not worth their time or bother and just represent a way to pass the time between CL matches, Milano derbies, and Juve matches.

This is one of the areas where I feel Ancelotti falls short. It's certainly more than his fault for this lack of motivation in lesser challenges. But more than anyone else, it's the coach's responsibility to ensure the team is prepared and up for whatever match they are facing. Lippi did a great job of taking the blame whenever Juve failed to do this.

Peter Crouch ended his much-publicised goal drought in style on Saturday afternoon by bagging a brace as Liverpool defeated Wigan 3-0 at Anfield.
