I'm not going to get into a debate, but different ppl find different things to be offensive.....

If it doesnt bother you, then thats fine...but be a bit more considerate of your friends here, who do find it to be disgusting

Honestly, I dont know what my reaction would be if I was at a stadium (outside the USA) and saw someone wearing one of those masks.....

I think I would shove it up his ass
So wait, first you're telling Altair to be more considerate towards other people and then you're saying you wouldn't understand the Mexican guy and that you would shove the mask up his ass. Perhaps you should be more tolerant instead of telling others to be more considerate ;).

Perhaps Andy should refrain from any political debate involving the United States of America. Once again he takes something which was probably a simple joke out of context and acts as if he, and at the same time every other American, is being attacked in person. Grow up, Andy. People tend to make jokes that are on the edge. Fvck off already.
Yes. A joke that is absolutely classless and used to taunt our own players and fans at our own stadium. Yes, we should all fvck off and let people continue on with their tasteless and disrespectful ways.

You would like that, wouldn't you.

Jeez, get over it, Andy. Wow, the opposition taunt you.. shame on them! They weren't even laughing with America! If anyone can be offended it's dear Osama. You don't even have the right to take this as an insult! And like I said, what about Vinni's comment in that case?

Seven, it's not like I think about such imbeciles everyday, and can't wait until I see one of these guys walking down the street somewhere. People can do whatever they want, whenever they want, and by the First Amendment in the United States people have this right and will not be legally sanctioned for what they say. However, following in accord with this statement, I think I have a right to criticise the distasteful actions of other people, especially those committed within our own borders. You may not like it, and I doubt you even understand the concept, however taunting like this should not be tolerated unless you like to do it yourself.

It's also extremely funny how statements like this are A-okay when performed by citizens of other countries, however if an American would do the same sort of action we would never hear the end of it...that's how hypocritical crap like this is. We can't say behavior such as wearing Bin Laden masks to taunt our players is classless, however if an American would praise all the actions of George Bush we would never hear the end of it. Come off it Seven...you know you are just protesting against me for shits and giggles.

I honestly couldn't care less if an American did something likewise. Perhaps it's classless (I'd never do such a thing, because I'd feel like an imbecile wearing a mask), but calling it a disgrace isn't very fair either. And yes, obviously you do have the right to criticise those people, but don't you think you're judging a little too fast?

Not really, considering the guy wore the mask for the aforementioned reasons of taunting players and fans. His objectives are clear as day to be honest.

Are you sure you couldn't care less if an American did such a thing? For some reason I don't believe that..

You can believe what you want, but I tend to see the humour in things like that. It's part of the game. Don't cry foul.

I agree with Andy, what that guy did isnt humorouss at all Seven, and I would know since it happens regularly here.

Whether it's funny or not is a question of taste. Whether it's acceptable or not is a more important question. And IMO it definitely is acceptable.

Would saluting Sieg Heil and having a swastika on a flag be acceptable if it was Israel?
