Erik, the post I made under Burke's account days ago was not meant to be taken seriously and I hope I did not offend you by my joking comments. I know the picture is not very flattering as I indeed look like a drunken hobo with my wasted facial expression and perhaps ugly Azzurri warmup...hopefully I will obtain the Nederland jacket in the upcoming weeks to edge myself a bit further on your radar screen. Seven, despite our disagreements with each other in the past I think I deserve a bit more credit from you. We all have our favorite members on this board and follow certain "clicks" as if we were still in high school...unfortunately this is only part of human nature as we all want to feel a sense of belonging. During my two week hiatus from this forum I have indeed missed conversing with some people on this forum on topics involving football, however, I must say I have not missed the quarrels between us in recent months and the persistent slanging match we have come accustomed to...I am sure 99% of this forum has not missed these counterproductive posts either.
Correct me if I'm wrong, however did I not vouch for you when your existence on this forum was on the line? I could have easily lobbied to the moderators my former stance that you should have been banned for good, however I backed you up not because I like you, but because I feel you have something to add to this forum. Correct me if I'm wrong, however while you were making your case for your own reinstatement I remember you mentioning how you come to this forum partly to see my post-match reports, among other things. Now please don't tell us you like to read the match reports of utter morons...
All in all, I would like this piss-balloon-throwing match to end because in reality the whole thing is redundant...nobody wants to see us insulting each other time and time again. To this effect, I want to apologize to you for my comments about Belgium...how I jokingly stated the country doesn't exist and how I used the word waffles to refer to you lot. It was all in retaliation for your actions on this forum in which I thought your comments about various topics involving America were totally classless and uncalled for. The verdict is perhaps still out on your intentions, however I apologize for my comments in retaliation. You were certainly in the wrong here, however the same can be said about me for retaliating. Hopefully we can put this past us, however for some reason I have my doubts...the line has to be drawn somewhere.
And before you lot say "haha I told you so, he's back already" hold up for a sec...since I had to drop calculus, along with more than 70% of my fellow peers of the class, I suddenly had more time on my hands because that class took up the majority of my studies, along with chemistry which is going very well at the moment. I have been away for about two weeks, however the hiatus doesn't seem like two weeks at all...now whether that is a good thing or bad thing, I really don't know...I suppose it's good to be back nonetheless.

It's a good competition. O'Reilly gives me a laugh. Robertson scares me. That's the difference. O'Reilly sees himself as an entertainer, and he is. Robertson sees himself as a religious leader and politician. Which scares me even more.
