Prices had begun to drop here a small bit, but then the hurricane hit.

Hurricane=less American refineries=less gas produced here=higher prices here=increase oil imports=higher prices there.

A bunch of people who live outside the US and who claim to be anti-Americans and do that in an active way, by boycotting McDonal's, Coca Cola and other things. They sarcasm the US media and take stands that I won't go through as many of you know what I am talking about.

The silliest thing about these people is that they admire Moore's work as he is taking their side. They buy his books and rate them high along with his movies. Why silly? Because they are contradicting theirselves and their belifs and what they actually claim to stand for.

I was never more pissed than when I saw a McDonald's near the Spanish Steps (since gone, thankfully)

I despise huge corporations (multi-national or not)---which may come as a bit of a surprise to you all.

TBH, I think Iraq was a better place under Saddam. It may improve in a few years, but I think the overall situation was better than it is now.
