From who? THats the point..WE are not Michael Moore. Whats the point of going on campus or in a coffee house and talk about the negatives when there may be a cousin, relative, parent, son whatever of a victim...but more importantly out of respect just say it another day...its not like the whole world is listening to you.
You don't see it but then again you have done things that in my opinion are almost far worse than Seven...so you are not exactly someone I expect civilized conversation from. Let's not go there because if I have to mention your FVCKIN comments again I'm likely to get banned...

An elderly gentleman finally losing his battle with battle with cancer. Most unfortunate. And exactly the same as 3,000 people going off to work in the morning, expected to reunite with their children and spouses at the end of the work day, but instead are executed because some religious extremeists got frustrated. Yeah, I see the similarities.

Without terrorism, I would have been "nornally" sorry for your loss. Not making light of his death, but everyone dies.
With terrorism, you would have to deal with his loss, and the senseless, barbaric way he was taken from you.
In the first case, you would have one spot in your heart that ached.
In the second case, you would have two.
Which is why it is extremely insensitive to mention it. Especially on 9-11

Any death is senseless. I see what you mean, but a dead relative is still a dead relative regardless whether he died in a car crash, of cancer, fell down an evelvator or died in 9/11. There is no 'normally sorry' for the loss, as every life has equal worth, in the overall scheme of the world. Extra value is added to a life by the emotional attachements people have with the person, Ie my mother's life to me is worth more then a strangers.
Seven's grandfather's life is worth more to him then the 9/11 victims anyway- just like my mother or any relative of mine would be if they died, considering I knew them and had emotional attachments and shared things with them and never with any of the 9/11 victims.. just like anyone who would of died in a war. You would cry for the death of your wife or son, but perhaps not for 1,000 dead in Africa. Seven's grandfather's death is equally tragic as any of the individual victims, if not more to himself because he was actually related to him. So whatever he probably feels about his Grandfathers death is most likely to be greater then the pain you feel for 9/11.

Dan, you can eventually come to terms with a relative dying from disease or car accident, as in most cases there was nothing anybody could have done to save his life. But when a crazy bastard decides to just kill your family for no reason it much more difficult to reconcile.
And then I have go and kill that bastards entire family out of revenge, and I don't enjoy doing that. Never have.

When someone dies they are dead despite the way they died, however cruell or less cruel it is..
The people get no redemtpion of course because they essentially got away with it, thats what would probably be the most painful, but in the end it wont bring back their son/daughter/father.. which is of course the most important thing.
