Not really on Sept. 11. You don't know WHO lost a mother, father, brother, friend or relative that day..you don't know the connection the person may have but more importantly out of respect for the VICTIMS...people that feel the need to critize on that day just want to provoke reaction...
If what they have to say is important they can make their point some other day...
Sorry but I don't see that logic at all. Say it on another day and noone will listen. Any date of a terrorist attack or war or grievance is exactly the date we talk about it and it's the best time for it. Come 7/7 we will talk about it, there will be plenty blaming them, us, everyone & people will offend and intentionally provoke. That's how it is. Say it on another day and noone will listen.
Of course some will just try to provoke, but all I don't understand is why the Americans here react so badly everytime. Obviously I understand the frustration, but surely it is to be expected and surely experienced in the real world. What will Sergio quit his job if a co-worker says something wrong etc?
[edit: oh I just read the posts. let me withdraw this part. ]
Anyways don't take it wrong, I was just suprised.
