Keep this in mind as well. We are planning to start a family, and the Mustang is not a family car by any stretch of the imagination.

I was flat broke when I was their age, and that was even after working two jobs and going to school. Everything I have, I've worked my ass off for.

Trust me guys, when you get to my age (Z and Don) I hope you found the road easier to travel than when I did.

How is the ride on that piece though? And looking at my Automobile Magazine they don't actually have the GX35 listed, only the QX56 and the FX35. That's strange.

Yeah, its the FX35, not the GX. In my haste, I got the prefixes mixed up.


It rides very nicely, certainly a lot better than most SUV's out there. Its very fast as well.

My wife's is Black on Black, and it looks sharp.

Sweet, the FX is sick. It's basically in a league of it's own when compared to similar SUV's. The FX35 employs the first Lane Departure warning system in North America, and the 3.5L V-6 puts out a decent 280hp.

Black on black? That piece will get rather hot inside during the summer...I know from experiance. Black just soaks up the sun's rays, especially that leather.
