Shadowfax, not really. I'm looking at England and deciding what it's like. I'm considering the English people and how the majority of them act/behave. I do not need to consider another nation. I didn't say I was making a global comparison.
My point was and still is, that the majority of American's (and brits) are nationalistic prats. Don't tell me you haven't sat with a group and listened to 7-10 people gloat about certain things. Don't tell me your friends for other countries don't get hassled and don't tell me the average brit/american is respectful to other race/nationals because that is, quite simply, bullshit.
I'm talking from experience. Call it bad experience, but don't call me full of shit because I'm speaking the truth. Take the uneducated, take the old, take the foreigners themselves who will hate on the british whites, take the anti-gays, take the ignorant who will decide based on one event and add them up. Yeah that's called majority.
I don't doubt other nations are the same or worse, but I'm talking about America and Britain. I have enough experience in both to decide. It's not so shocking or unrealistic if only you look at it with an open mind.
