No. Italy is not a racist nation but racism IS more present over there (especially in the south) than it is in England or Holland.
We sadly tend to have a few bad apples in the bunch here. At the expense of sounding racist, the Turkish people here are really nasty to anyone who is not Turkish or German. Get caught talking english anywhere, and you will get abuse hurled at you infront of a certain minority.

For talking ENGLISH? :undecide: Don't get me wrong; we have some rotten apples in Dutch society as well. But usually it concerns hardcore, ill-educated, country-side Dutchmen who are against the whole principle of immigration and they make it heared to mostly Moroccan immigrants. Speaking English attracts racism... that's new to me.

First I'm not talking about racism as black v white. Nationalism certainly thrives in England. We know what is expected and where the limits are but that doesn't mean the average brit isn't a nationalistic pig because believe me they are. Be it American, be it French, Irish. Anything other than English and you will be scourned in this country.

A coffee bar in London is a different place than a side street. I'm talking averages here. And if you want to tell me that most british are as respectful as the ones on this forum, go ahead. It's aload of shite though.

I'm not comparing to other nations, why would I do that, that's irrelevent to my discussion.

So yeah, where's the problem with what I said about Andrew showing himself to be average America?

Most racism in the UK is situationed around London, you only have to look what happened to Hackney in the Elections, the BNP won it ffs!! :fero:
That doesn't mean anything. Here in Holland, the LPF party (notorious for being against immigration) won in a Rotterdam district but further research showed most people voted for them because they are also strongly against 'the rich becoming richer'

Its not irrelevant at all... if you say its a racist nation... then it has to be compared to others and then you would see it definately is not...

Now if you had said there is racism in england... then of course that is right and there is no need to compare... not the same thing

So yeah, where's the problem with what I said about Andrew showing himself to be average America?
i never said there was anything wrong with you saying it... Personally i wouldnt have said it as i do not know enough about the place, but if you do then i dont see an issue

lol... i was only messing with you... yes they have in the past (and very limited today) won council elections... but as erik said thats not allways down to that side of there policy... many of these parties do actually have good policies for the day to day life of their community...

An example of this is a certain council in the midlands where the bnp won... yet the population was 80% of asian desent a couple of years ago (have to look that up as cant remember which council it was)

Anyplace... just because one or 2 councils elect these people does not reflect on the country as a whole

I know and I said on a whole the UK is no way a racist country, but it is also naive to say that it isnt. Because like every country racist does exist. You also have to look that the country has got more racist since Labour took over because of the simple huge amount of immigrates in the UK, of course I have no against that (after all I wasnt born here either) but it is making people alot more angry about it.

Its true. I was on the tram the other day with my friends, and I speak german fluently (well nearly) and i was with a friend who does too and 2 others who do not.. people sitting opposite us who we later found out were 1 german 2 turkish started making fun of us for talking english.. words like **** YOU and Insel Affen (Island Monkeys) were said. I talked german to them and was polite and friendly and pretended I was also German.. and my friends came from Italy and could not speak german.

Of course, the racism stopped there.

Good god that amazes me
Its common and has happened before. Our lower class pigs here are called Asis. In england they are Chavs, here they are asis. They are mostly the turkish, but you get some german ones too. You would not believe the shit they stir up here. Its fairly common to get abuse hurled at you if you are english by this class, which usually stem from age range 15- 25.

Reading a couple of pages back there.

I think that Andy should be back, he's a great man, and a great Fan aswell, It could be his fault that Burke used his account but the same thing goes with Jae and Claire.

Andy was here in this Forum for Juve, not to fvck around Like Claire and Emma were doin Includin the lapdog.

And I do think that Martin can take his own decision, No need to moan and ask him to Keep Andy banned.
yeah thats true
