The thing is I made ONE cynical remark about 9/11, in which I stated that perhaps the world should be more shocked about millions of African children that die due to starvation rather than some thousand Americans that die in one terrorist attack. 9/11 has been used by the American government over and over again, while in fact, it wasn't that horrible overall. Worse things happen. For this world to be a better place, America should get over it already. If Americans weren't that indoctrinated and scared, a lot of problems would already be solved. Look at the Cold War for example, what was that about? That's just wasting energy that could have been spent more wisely. I'm sick and tired of Americans creating artificial enemies. "hey, North Corea is bad, don't criticise the government, because they are trying to fight North Corea"; really, that's how it goes.

Your right. We do make up a lot of enemies. But if we would have "made up" terrorist enemies 9/11 wouldnt have happened, right? We are by nature a country that has since forever been safe from wars and conflict. We have two bordering nations who love us to death(more or less) because we provide them so much economically. To put people like that through 9/11 is pure terror, unlike anything anyone can imagine. We arent used to the kind of conflicts in the M-E, or in Europe, or Africa.
