dude i grew up in Queens and spent many summers visiting fam outside in a lil town called Lowell, MA. they do have harsh accents but comparing new england accents to the southern inbred accent is apples to oranges. nothing sounds more dumb or ignorant and wreaks of incest and racist like south of the mason-dixon. from SC to Texas, from GA to LA.

but jersey folks themselves have this strange hybrid accent which consists of dumb fuck and a sprinkle of remorse since no one considers it a real state.
