I wasn’t really talking about the media, but since that came up in this discussion. I remember reading an article about how the Italian media hardly mentioned the hooliganism and police brutality at the MU v Roma CL game. They ran clippings well underneath the match reports referring to “scuffles” or “some disturbances”. The TV coverage was more concerned with the goals. They only picked up the stories when the British media accused the police of violence. Is this the bravo media we should be aiming for and championing? Calling the British media biased and championing the Italian is so silly I laugh at it.

Look, both Micah Richards are Jolean Lescott have had good spells in the Premiership and are playing matches due to injuries such as Gary Neville. Terry is obviously out. Perhaps Beckham should have started, but again he isn't 100%. I don't really see what your problem is with the 18 players McClaren selected.
