Who would you have rather seen in the final? Madrid v. Chelsea? I do understand that it was a boring game, hell I was half asleep when Milan got the second. I don't see how the inability of the other bigger more exciting teams to play well in big games is the fault of Liverpool or Milan. Maybe next year the game will be better, maybe not. But thats the beauty of the Champions League, you have to show up every game or you go home. Not every final can be a SuperClassico sometimes you get the occasional stinker.

Not really I kind of figured we would lose if we didn't score first. Its unrealistic to think you will always have no.1 teams competiting agaisnt each other in CL finals, the random factor comes in. If you look at the trends aswell since the competition changed, you will find that for the most part final teams are not outside the top 2 in their respective leagues- now what more can one ask for?
