I loved that show.

yeah i think i remember martin saying how iriver was better than iposd some time ago. i think he even owned one.
I've owned an iRiver iHp-120 for a couple of years now. Great battery life, great support of different encodings, very open. But if I was in the market for a new player today, per Martin, I would ask questions out about where their product strategy and alliances are headed.

Sorry, Frederick, MD is not in America. :p

You are aware your location reads USA and that Americans never take lightly to these insults? :D
OK, my fellow EU comrades... as a follow up to the previous blog post I cited here, today's one has me as worried as I have always been about this country I'm in:
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/9/20/174152/072

Basically, here an Amnesty International poster boy who escaped Communist Romania, now a cab driver in the U.S., worries that the current U.S. administration has become as bad as the torturing and mind-control communists he'd escaped in his homeland years earlier.

"Same circus, different clowns" (God, I love that line...)

Which, in response, is all I can tell you all EU Pinkos to TAKE THIS!: :D :scared:

iRiver wise...

What is the difference between the H10 purchased in the USA/EU and H10 purchased in other regions?

Like the H300 series, H10 products sold in the USA and Europe* are different from those sold elsewhere in the world.

The H10(US/EU) comes with Windows Media Player 10(WMP10) installation CD while the other version comes with iriverplus/iriverplus2 software.

The device comes with Windows Media Player 10 is called 'MTP' version and the device that comes with iriverplus/iriverplus2 is called 'UMS' version.

UMS good, MTP baaaaaaad. I don't think I'm gonna get another iriver, I don't like where this is going. I'd rather find a vendor that expressly supports linux, there aren't many but they're out there.
Creative Nomad harddisk players.

Vinman, I have a serious question here. What is it with the beating? What does it prove and why would one be beaten?
Seven (the poster) and BEATING go hand in hand...like sugar and spice and everything nice.

Seven..just wondering but say the phone rings at home and you answer. Someone then asks for your brother (Centrocampo) do you tell the caller "hold on" then walk around the kitchen and pick up the phone answering "hello Centrocampo speaking" or at times do you just say fek it and when the caller asks for Centrocampo you say "speaking". ????

    come again ??
I am sure you understood me but I will explain it to you :)

You had just mentioned to Seven how many times he had been beaten at school for whatever reason.

I have seen you mention several times the ability you pocess to beat members on the forum in whatever discussion is going on, and you used to bring up the subject even if the discussion had nothing to do with physical abilities.

I am really intrigued about it, what is it with beating others or being beaten or expressing physical superiority?

I will tell you why I am asking, personally I have a very weak physique and I was never interested in that area at all. I have been stupid towards others many times but I was never hit. I had lots of arguments with people but physical contact was always out of question. None of my friends has ever expressed this physical superiority (or inferiority) and it was never used to strengthen one's argument or discussion.

Enron, I am sorry mate, you failed me this time, I know you mastered the Jack very well, but you still need more time :D

Nick, You can say whast you like, but the only reason you are commenting on what i said is because it was aimed at vinni... If the exact same conversation had taken place but with seven rather than Vin you would have had nbothing to say...

Not to mention Vin is big enough and ugly enough to stand up for himself... He also knows me well enough to know what i think of him and that whatever is said in conversation here.. we can still have a great chat on msn five minutes later...

Anyway thankyou for the nicer parts of your post and allthough i myself dont post much... It is dissapointing that you dont either..

Maybe that was PART of the reason (Vincenzo post) but in reality you don't post often enough and when you do it seems you come out of the woodwork to lash at someone for something banal like "actually the Montepulciano grape is grown in the Pescara/Chieti region and not the Aquila region".

    My take on things...

By the way, still waiting for that invite to the resto Paolo....I'm in Torino from time to time...don't worry as people say "my bark is larger than my bite"

More like anti vendor lock-in, consumer choice, that kind of thing. Of course, iRiver is headed down the very same road, just that Apple has a much worse reputation right now.
