If anyone wants to recommend a therapist to me, I'd welcome the suggestions.
I got into a car accident in England. Incredible, I was handling the whole driving-on-the-other-side-of-the-road thing very well then I get into a crash because a truck driver decided to switch lanes when I was driving next to him on the motorway.
So the truck hits me, crushes the left front side of my car and pushes me onto the other lane to my right where I susbsequently hit another passenger car. That car makes a quick zig-zag move, hits me back on the rear right corner of my car which causes me to turn 180 degrees and slam into the metal divider running down the centre of the motorway. I think I slid on for another 30 meters before I came to a stand still but I'm not sure about that. All this happened at a speed of 120 kilometers an hour (80-90 miles an hour I think).
Police said it was a small miracle I came out unharmed.
And now I can't bring myself to driving anymore (a friend's car, that is, cause mine is a total loss).

Thanks. And yeah I had WA (as opposed to all-risk) which means the insurance covers the damage I caused to the other passenger car. Meanwhile the insurance company for the truck driver should cover my damage so I should be all set on that department. Might take a while before the whole process is finished though so I won't tempt fate by saying it's all good already. You never know with these things.

Im assuming that the highway you were travelling on must have had some sort of surveillance,so there is a chance that you could get some sort of renumeration.Getting a hold of that video data is another issue though.
Its amazing how insurance company's emphasise their caring nature when advertising.

I dont expect a guy who lives in Norway or any other foreign country to "get it", nor do I expect college aged kids, or leftists to "get it" also...

Well technically I did graduate. Then I chose grad school, if that makes any difference. But what is this rule? Things to come out of college = bad?

That reminds me of a funny story, I was once (in 2002) waiting on Brescia airport, which is really tiny and dull. So I went outside and shot some pictures of the random surroundings. Suddenly an army vehicle drove up to me and two soldiers got out: turned out I had accidentally taken pictures of a military airport (I didn't know, I just thought the contrast between the old crummy buildings and nice natural surroundings was cool. The buildings were behind fences but there weren't any obvious signs of military presence). So one of the dudes start talking to me (relatively kindly so) and the other one is standing slightly further away pointing his huge machine gun type of thing at me which was very inspiring. In the end they realised I was just a dumb tourist and they even let me keep my camera wee.
The point is, there is a fine line between being perceptive and paranoid. Then again, I'm a 'communist' so what the fuck do I know, right?

Yep. He and I are from totally different camps (though not so much "left" and "right" as you might think -- even if he is a sworn GWB voter). I disagree with him vehemently all the time. But we're brothers. I love the guy, and we respect our differences by agreeing to disagree.
Not that I want to tempt anybody here, but this is an interesting example on a wholly different, but not entirely unrelated, subject. Water treatment plants and food supplies (just look at spinach in this country over the past week) are such easy terrorist targets. But it seems like there's no glory in that for terrorists. It's too insidious. Apparently you only get your 72 virgins when you die in a fiery ball of death. No recruitment videos. No martyrdom accolades for the remaining family.
You hear talk about immigrants taking the jobs that Americans don't want to do. Clearly there are jobs the terrorists don't want to do either and would rather farm out. :confused2
If anything, if you're going to be evil, that marks a serious weakness to me.
