thats the hope, regardless that milans punishment is horse-shit, we are in no position to judge anyones guilt. however this stinksumpkin: andhopefully the appeal will reduce the points penalty

You were the only team of the lot who did take drastic measures to get rid of the rot, the only one that didn't play the Virgin Mary act and seemed determinted to turn a new leaf. Yet you also were the most compromised of them all, so a harsher punishment was to be expected.

As for me, I am ashamed of being a milanista today. How we managed to get a lighter sentence than Lazio and Fiorentina I do not know, or rather I am afraid I know all too well. Meoni was not an external man who acted on his own. We paid him 60.000 euros a year ffs, and that's only the official part. Had Mr. B still been running the country, you can bet your left testicle that Milan would see CL action next year.

Here's hoping that you will promptly manage to rebuild a great team and that we'll meet again in a couple of years. I'll keep the Paduan shitcans in the fridge while looking forward to it.

Many thanks for your kind words toward Juventus and toward my shit cans. I do look forward to seeing Italy's two greatest clubs face each other at the top of Serie A, hopefully in 2007-08. @ Sergio - good post, and it made me sad that is was my sister-in-law that brought my child her first Juve jersey. She had been in Italy prior to the birth, and my daughter has loved that shirt. Of course, I can buy her the new and improved Serie B version (as soon as player numbers are announced).
