They are wannabe Brazilians. ;)
I've often wondered about that. Portuguese always have shown big support for the Brazil NT, and I used to think that had a lot to do with the success Brazil had versus the many Portuguese failures (and their cultural reveling in misery). ;)

I've come to realize how many Portuguese wanted to see Brazil in the semi-finals... they truly due consider the Brazilians as "brothers" of a sort. (As with Angola, surprisingly.)

Fabiana, Nick, Vinni, and other supporters of the Azzurri..

I would like to personally congratulate you on a fantastic acheivement tonight, one that is certainly deserved and very much admired by myself. Your progress in the World Cup has been nothing short of excellent, and even though I still believe my side was better on that aforementioned fateful night, Italy certainly deserves to be in the final. I was hoping for an Italian win today, and will be hoping for one on Sunday afternoon.

As a Juventus supporter, you cannot help but love the performances of Fabio Cannavaro and Alex Del Piero. Cannavaro is simply the best defender in the world, without question.
thanks Andy !!

words cannot describe how I feel right now...

the clincher is that the Buffalo News...never to be accused of being a soccer-friendly newspaper, has a huge pic of DP scoring on the front page of the sports section  :D

The way they played at their peak was definitely the most Brazilian of all European teams. I don't find they are particularly exciting to watch these days, but then all teams are in a slump recently, entertainment wise.

Well, they were rubbish against England... who, to their luck, were at least as rubbish. And the game against Holland was a brawl more than a match.

Win or lose (hopefully win :D ), I just hope they put in one of their more engaging efforts against France. With Deco and Costinha back unlike the England match, despite some leg injuries in Figo and Ronaldo, one can hope...

Vinny....

I can't describe the feelings here when Italy scored these two goals and booked the Berlin chair.....I wonder how you felt, specially that I'm not Italian and I was about to break my leg because I was jumping non-stop and running around the house.

Congrats Vinny,Nick and of coarse all Azzurri supporters.
