How about the phantom penalty called at the start of the second half against Ukraine. Absolutely no contact was made with Torres, he got off his shot (straight to the 'keeper) and then fell. Red card and PK. I know one referee who can catch an early flight home, his work is done.
That game was fixed, it's as easy as that. Anyone who claims that these "mistakes" were just human errors is an idiot. FOUR offsides out of five wrong? No no, that's statistically so unlikely that I don't believe this was unintentional. On to the penalty then. That shit was predetermined. If there's another game like this I'll simply stop watching the WC. I have had enough of fixed games. Blatter deserves the bullet.

The point is that while the US does a lot of bad these days, we also do some good. You're bashing of the US and the American people is quite offensive and disrespectful not to mention childish so do me a favor. Leggo my Ego.
It's childish to question guantanamo?
It's childish to question the Patriot Act?
It's childish to criticise America for invading Iraq without authorisation?

Now now, that's just too easy.

"If you criticise the US you're either a moron or a terrorist.'

Andries, if you want the USA out of Iraq you should convince your own country to commit it's armed forces to help out and kill off all the remaining imported insurgency in Iraq. This way the USA can bring its troops home and let the new Iraq begin to govern in peace.

:p

Blatter does deserve the bullet . . . delivered to him by Maria Sharapova dressed in the uniform of CSKA Moscow w/ bikini bottom shorts.

Oh dear god. Coming from a police man that's just horrible.

This effectively means that if you see some guy getting beaten the shit out of him you go (and we take a dangerous leap into Vinni's big ass brain here:

"Do I know him?"
"Do I live in his neighbourhood?"
"Do I have any connection to him whatsoever?"

The answer is NO to all the above questions. So not only should I NOT help the guy, it's also NOT RIGHT for me to help the guy.

Anyway, I'm more than willing to continue arguments like this with Padovano, but Vinman is simply a joke, so I won't check his posts again.

The real issue today is that Ukraine got robbed anyway.

Who is behind it this time?

At least in 2002 we knew it was the Singapore-based betting syndicates that have a stranglehold on South Korea. Who fixed the match for Spain? Bin Laden?

I will take the Iraq criticism because that was indeed a mistake and of course I disagree with the action. However, I abhor when people criticise us for invading Afghanistan and taking the Taliban out of power. That place was nothing but a sanctuary for terrorists and terrible living before we went on our mission after September 11th, and now Afghanistan is slowly being expunged of terrorists and idiots who caused their own people suffering. There is no argument as to why we should have not invaded Afghanistan because, afterall, it was logically the place to start to make a first strike against Al Qaeda.

Somehow I'm a little sceptical towards using the 20th century tactic of invading a nation to retaliate when you've been attacked by a group of homeless extremists. That said, I clearly don't regret the fall of the Taliban regime.

Another thing:

how can that qualify as an act of war? I mean, seriously, that's just giving it a sick twist.
Yes, that was a very strange justification for what happened...

My analysis for that case is that the three guys were KILLED by their guards...

Nothing odd indeed along with the USA history...

But they'd still kick Italy's ass should we ever attack them..

And once the Islamo-fascists and the Christic fundies have carried out their nuclear holocaust, they will be the only people left thanks to their "one house, one bunker" policy.

A canny breed, those Appenzell munchers.
