Inside the goal posts? 5 different attackers played in that game, and 50% of the goals (1) was score by a midfielder by a long shot. The remaining 50% was not because of our excellent team work, but simply because their defender is a retard. Imagine if Iaquinta HADN'T scored that goal.
Anyway, I'm not saying we won't beat USA, because I honestly think we will, but "ripping apart" is a tad exaggerated after yesterday's performance (at least in terms of offence), and if something isn't done about that, it could cost us further on in the tournament (assuming we do pass to the next round).

There's a good bookshop in The Hague, they'll order anything if you ask but that's not really useful to you. My advice is check out some of the better bookshops where you live and just ask if they can order a particular book for you. Usually they can.

Recommendations:

• "Il nome della rosa" - Umberto Eco (duh)
• "Il gattopardo" - Giuseppe di Lampedusa (not for the faint hearted, takes some getting into)
• "Io non ho paura" - Niccolò Ammaniti (I recommend this one, kind of a strange story but I liked it, it has meaning)
• "Uno, nessuno e centomila" - Luigi Pirandello (released in 1926 by one of Italy's best authors. This novel is one of his best works)
• "Se una notte d'inverno un viaggiatore" - Italo Calvino (this one is very strange but I love it)
• "Arrivederci amore, ciao" - Massimo Carlotto (if you like thrillers, you'll love this one)

I think I recall some difficulties about shipping and payment but I'm not sure :undecide: You'll have to check that out

Belgium was fourth in 1986 and qualified for numerous WC's. All in all we achieved far more than the US, which is odd, wouldn't you say so?

Il nome della rosa seems a tad too difficult at the moment. It wasn't easy in Dutch either TBH. I'll check those books out though.

I don't have a problem with other fans giving criticism if it's fair, however what I do not like is people of our own country bashing our team without restraint. We are criticized and pissed on from all angles in world football, and when our own supposed compatriots seemingly want us to lose that is what I cannot understand. It just does not make sense.

Oh? Yes, I started to watch that match, but 16 minutes of mind-numbing Belgian tactics and my brain slipped into a coma that lasted 4 months. Doctors have warned me to stay away from Belgium matches on the television.
