    Last week:

Langella was sent off in last weekend's controversial 1-1 draw against Juventus that left Cagliari coach Nedo Sonetti fuming.

The islanders looked to have secured three golden points against Serie A leaders Juve only to concede Fabio Cannavaro's goal deep into stoppage time.

The win would have allowed Cagliari to have taken a big step towards defending their top flight status, but as it is, Sonetti's men will have to sweat it out in the coming weeks.

Sonetti was unhappy with the referee's decision to prolong the game for a further five minutes and not to send off Juve midfielder Mauro Camoranesi.

"I have to compliment my players because they have been extraordinary," said Sonetti.

"Camoranesi should have been sent off because he elbowed one of my players but the referee didn't see it.

"It's ironic because Camoranesi later on provided the assist for Canavaro to score."

Are you insane?? What favorable calls??

Juve has stains on their ties/victories against Parma, Udinese, Cagliari and Lazio...count the number of points that is...

what favourable calls? Someone at XT had a good point..have you seen Juve's foul to yellow ratio???

Canna a yellow?? The guy is out for the entire season...Cannavaro has steadily become a hack this season ....

Lets not even begin discussing the non-existent corner kick last week in the 96th minute ... where was the corner???
come on nick, stop being biased. There was a 8-9 game run Milan were winning and had bad calls in most of them. I don't whine about them. Why waste our time on this?

Canna made 2 bad tackles and you call him a hack. Give me a break. Sounds like your comparing him to Materazzi.

The corner was on the left of the keeper. :p

There is only one Materazzi but Cannavaro is becoming a shadow of his former sportsmanlike self...no excuse for some of his behaviour this season..esp. the Udinese match where he literally wrestled an attacker down.

Juve are atop the standings and in the scudetto race...calls like this are simply too much at this point in the season when so much is on the line.

I wondered when Mr. Conspiracy Theory would start complaining. I guess we had to wait until Milan got back into the race. YOU sir, are a bit of a broken record, and a lot of a bad joke.

Udinese? Still complaining about that? The red card was 100% justified, but Del Piero's goal was offside. Q: How many clubs have had offside goals allowed to stand? A: All of them.

Parma? OK, that one was a robbery

Cagliari? Juve score in the 5th minute of injury time, after the 4th official indicated there would be 5 minutes of time. Maybe you realize there was nothing wrong and are just bitter about the timing of the goal.

Lazio? If that fucker didn't back heel that ball, thn it sure looked as if he was about too. What exactly is your complaint? Oh, yes, you don't like the rules that govern world football.

Juve's record in Italy speaks for itself as it does in Europe..

look at the amount of cards they have received in Europe and their lack of success...

what happens in Italy STAYS in Italy for Juve.
You are just dodging my point, so let me spell it out for you.
1-On the 25th of May 2005 Milan lost to Liverpool in the CL final, and if I remember correctly, you posted on this very same thread saying that Smicer's goal should not have counted because Milan Baros was offside and blocking Dida's line of vision. This stuff we did not notice because we were "watching on TV", while you did because you were there.
2-On the 22nd of April 2006, Osman Dabo's goal was cancelled due to offside in an almost as identical as the one in Istanbul, yet this goal should've counted.

    Conflicting? I must say yes.

Now if you have a reply for this, then by all means be my guest. But if you are gonna dodge and insult, let me spare you a post for you:
Jog on son, sell it to the tourist, your a homo [insert picture]...etc.

Yeah, yeah. And Abraham Lincoln would have been 197 years old today if it weren't for that assassin's bullet. :p

How many clubs are maintaining a lead for the Scudetto getting these calls?? ONE: Juve.

My complaint about the Lazio game is Cannavaro getting off without even so much as a whistle...
My complaint about the Cagliari game is Camoranesi getting off without being thrown out..only to be suspended later..oh yeah and assisting on the late goal..

I stayed quiet till now because the OLD Juve that destroyed Serie A was NOT getting preferential treatment and deserved to have a 10 point lead...the fact that they escaped the last two games with 4 points is horsesh*t...
once again I'm not stating there was a briefcase full of cash handed out but this string of bad calls must end if every team is to get a fair shot...
No surprise that Juve's foul and card record in CL is on a different level compared to Serie A

Difference is that Baros covered the ball with his entire body and at the last minute removed his hand as it went by his hand...Dabo situation was not the same..
regardless, the goal could arguably be considered offside...but whats the excuse for Cannavaro not getting so much as a yellow??

Anyways whatever...congrats on SCUDETTO # 29...Juve was the better team most of the season in SERIE A its just a shame it has to end like this because Capello despite the wave of criticism managed to keep JUVE in FIRST PLACE throughout his entire REIGN...not many could do that...

Serie-A is Serie-A and the CL is the CL.
Fair calls and bad calls are made week in and week out and it's the same for every club. Even for Milan.

And for the record: Cagliari were lucky not to lose and so were Lazio
