what about soldiers who abused prisoners. surely not all of them have been sentenced. "thanks buddy?"

Sure there are those who give the US a bad name. But to say that all the soldiers are bastards is just a lie. The greter majority of them are only doing what they are told, they have no choice, it is their job.

The same goes with Vinny, he could be called out to arrest his best buddy from high school, not because he wanted to, but because he broke the law, and he must go down.

Kind of does because in the end the Burke's, the River's and even the Emma's will grow on you because the sh*t slinging posts will slowly take a backseat and the person will come out or rather something interesting and creative will make its way into the threads.
