They give a good idea of what sort of students they accept for undergrad spots, and that could perhaps give you some idea of what sort of students the university accepts as a whole and what sort of standards they hold. But of course it won't provide much info on how prestigious each of the masters are... I wonder if the Princeton Review has lists of top masters programs. They probably do..
Off of USnews:

SAT scores (25/75 percentile):
Verbal:
490 – 600
Math:
510 – 620
Combined:
1000 – 1220
Percent of first-time, first-year students enrolled in Fall 2005 with scores in each range:
SAT I Verbal SAT I Math
700-800 4.2% 6.0%
600-699 22.7% 26.7%
500-599 47.3% 49.0%
400-499 25.7% 18.2%
300-399 0.2% 0.0%
200-299 0.0% 0.0%
Edit: overall acceptance rate 68%

lol yeah good luck with that in Saudi, i actually know someone from saudi who got an mba out of HBS only to go back home and sip tea all day at a government job.
I already have a job now :), coupled with the Marketing background I currently have, I believe its powerful.

Edit: Don't forget that in Saudi your "relations" play a major role ;)

Bah, my second option is to pull some threads to postpone this to July 08, as they expect me to go in October this year, and in the meantime try to get acceptance to a better school, which will require pulling more strings. But the good thing by then Bushy won't be at office :D

Jeez, I better be a good muppetmaster

So last year I got accepted in a government sponsored scholarship program to USA. I intend to do my masters. The ministry of education tells us not to get acceptances from universities, rather they will do that for us and get us acceptances in "reputable" universities. I wasn't really convinced and already knew the outcome of their "reputable" claim, not that I can do anything about it.

Anyways, yesterday I get their letter, with accompanying documents from the college they got for me. And guess what? The University is called "Adelphi University" in NY! Ever heard of it? I didn't! A quick search in U.S News rankings tells me its a third tier university :wallbang:

I am thinking of canelling the whole thing now, just stay over here and advance my career....

Anybody got any info about Adelphi??
Isn't that a cable company?

never heard of it, but this situation cant be all bad if your plan is to go back anyway the simple "american educated" shall suffice i doubt any good schools outside the ivy ones are known out there.
Like other schools? I bet U of Chitown is known.
too busy playin host, but i am sure that can be arranged at an ulterior time.
Better be that way, donk nut.
I am applying for graduate studies Andy. How fair an assessment would SAT scores be?
:lol2:
Naah not my style...I rather work with big multinationals, or companies that adapt their style.
I would work with naked women if i were you.

"Forza Juve."

Random guy in the DR with Juve jersey looking at the screaming Pado, "Uhhh, what?"

"FORZA JUVE. TAKE MY FUCKING TEAM'S JERSEY OFF IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING."

I love you Pado. I'd do the same while drunk on a golf course. :pint:
Actually it went like this: The Pado was buzzing along in a golf cart heading to the beach when he sees this white, white, white skinned English bastard walking on the path wearing the last Lotto Juventus jersey -

Pado: "Forza La Juve!"

White: "????????"

Pado: "If you don't know what I'm talking about, why did you spend your money on our shirt? Cafone!"

on the way to soccer practice last Sunday morning, the Vinman got pulled over by the police for speeding...

when the officer got to my drivers side window, I gave him my police identification, and told him I was running late for a soccer game

he looked at what I was wearing and said "ok officer, we wouldnt want the REFEREE to be late for the game" :rolleyes2 :wallbang:
