LOS ANGELES (Reuters) -- Former England captain David Beckham sought the advice of his actor friend Tom Cruise before agreeing his big-money move from Real Madrid to Los Angeles Galaxy worth $1 million a week over five years.

"I was on the phone to him (Cruise) for about an hour last night and an hour the night before," Beckham told reporters on Friday.

:lol2:

....and in a related story, Beckham also claims he's switched to Scientology, so that he can be closer to Hollywood's big-name stars :p

You know what's so great about this Beckham transfer? Now Andy and Burke will have to watch him before they he's such a fucktard. Seriously, Andy, Becks was and maybe still is a great players, besides all the commercial crap.
Beckham is not that great of a player... certainly not as much as his top plaudits make him out to be. I mean, I watched pretty much every match he played during his first season with Madrid, and many of his performances were laughable if you ask me. Watching him last season I didn't see much to praise him over either, as even in some matches the guy was giving passes away in midfield, which not very "Beckham-esque" if you ask me. Beckham is nothing more than a good player who has a world class right foot. A foot that is worth millions of dollars doesn't necessarily make somebody a world class professional... lets not insult the likes of Hagi, Zidane and Savicevic here. Even Juan Carlos Valeron was a better player than Beckham.

Not my family....I've been here for a while, unlike your off-the-boat cafone bologna ass.

PS - Nicky, I got a call from Exxon/Mobil today, they want you to send them a hair so they can do some tests. They are thinking of putting an off-forehead drilling structure on your SCALP!

    Are you in Frederick now?

    Is he coming here?
I met these people yesterday at a hookah bar in Adams Morgan, DC. I overheard them saying something about Diouf coming to their house so I was like "yao! are you serious!?" And they said yea and asked me if I was into football... So I got invited over to their house. Diouf's a family friend and he's supposedly coming over next week for dinner at their place.
