How dare Juventus bring me to Turin, make me filthy rich, surround me with the best players in the world, and go over 14 months without losing a league match. I'm furious.

--Jonathan Zebina, David Trezeguet and Mauro Camoranesi

Why do footballers insist on speaking? Just play the fucking game you're being paid to play or else join the labor union and get your ass down in the coal mine or steel mill where a helluva lot of other guys complain a lot less than you fuckers.

Absolutely bang on! Bunch of tossers, weren't complaining when we were lifting trophies & sending them to the world cup!

Maybe a little harsh on Trezeguet.

+rep anyways.

Thanks man. I still love Treze and Camo, but they need to just shut up about this not knowing where they'll be next year crap. Maybe the press keeps drawing them into this discussion, but this is the kind of shit that can turn a locker room into a divided house.

Completely agreed on all this premature end-of-season public whining.

But I also have to figure some of that has to do with Trez's contract coming to an end and some salary negotiation tactics... :(

That may be true, But these public statements are classless and only lead to unrest... Not to mention that he basically keeps stating that the other players arent good enough and in trez's latest interview he even suggested that DD wasnt upto scratch either... that cant be good... They should keep their mouths shut

They signed a contract. No doubt they could have had a contract in which they would have had a relegation clause, but apparently they didn't feel the need to. As long as Camoranesi keeps playing well I don't care too much about his statements though.

Trezeguet's words were the worst. His contract doesn't have much years left anyway( ends in 2008 I beleive?), so it might be best to let him go in the summer. Get someone who contributes to our play.

I'm becoming more inclined to sell these players as the days and press comments go by. And at the moment, with us rebuilding for the future, perhaps it would make sense to sell them now and obtain loads of cash... especially Trezeguet who Lyon apparently values upward of 20 million pounds. But I will sure miss David's instinct and touch around goal.

And while some players might need to be sold, other players need to join a mental hospital. Case in point our lovable Johnny Zebina.
