Actually, with Napoli's home record and amazing home support, I seriously doubt Bayern would win a match at the Stadio San Paolo. They haven't lost at home in over two years.

Good to see Burke is an expert on Italian football.

some people have no perspective when it comes to juve, especially with a depleted squad. hell even with a full squad a 1-1 draw is a pretty good result

@ Andy - we looked ok today. Our formation was actually a 4-3-2-1 with a central defensive pairing of Legro & Chiellini. Legro has not had a chance to develop any chemistry with his mates yet, and Chiellini who was played out of position. Paro was actually in the center and Marchisio on the left. Marchisio was very good and Napoli had nothing in the first half.

Ten minutes into the second half we lost Legro to injury and introduced De Ceglie, so we finished with 3 teenagers on the pitch. Like Vinman said, after DP scored it was all Napoli and we were fortunate to get a point. Not a bad match by Juve, and thankfully we have a great primavera side producing first teamers of this quality.

I know this is why this town is looked at as a fruitcake to the rest of the country, but this is classically one of the reasons why I love this place.

So I'm going through my ballot information for tomorrow's midterm elections. In California, they leave so much to the propositions to vote on that you get something the size of the Miami yellow pages to read before every election. On the one hand, citizens taking an active role in their government decisions is a good thing. On the other hand, the whole point of a representative democracy is some lying bastard is supposed to do this job for us.

That said, here's a city proposition for San Francisco I get to vote on tomorrow: Proposition J:
http://www.smartvoter.org/2006/11/07/ca/sf/meas/J/

Proposition J
Adopting a Policy Calling for the Impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney

City of San Francisco
Majority Approval Required

THE WAY IT IS NOW: The Board of Supervisors passed a Resolution in February 2006 calling for a full investigation, impeachment or resignation of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney.

THE PROPOSAL: Proposition J is a Declaration of Policy that would call for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney for violating the public trust and for knowingly harming the United States of America, California, and San Francisco.

The policy would call on elected federal and state representatives to use every available legal mechanism to effect the impeachment and removal from office of President Bush and Vice President Cheney for committing High Crimes and Misdemeanors in violation of the United States Constitution.

A "YES" VOTE MEANS: If you vote "yes," you want it to be City policy to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

A "NO" VOTE MEANS: If you vote "no," you do not want it to be City policy to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
 :rofl2:

I love this town!

Like I have said before, one of the bright spots to this whole "scandal' and subsequent demotion is the fact we now have to nurture our young starlets instead of throwing them away. It is crucial to our future that we build ourselves around the youth... most of the great sides in history that have emerged from the dungeons had a solid core of youngsters leading the way.

spot on, i didnt think we played a 4-4-2 it was more like a 4-3-2-1.
Why didnt DD introduce Zebina when legro got injured i dont know! Also if this Napoli team plays like they did last night then i rate them much higher than some serie A teams this season.
