Enron, don't you find Azzurri fans that are not Italian to be absolute cockmongers?

All they want is Lippi's unit, and they don't care how biased they have to be to get it.
quit the forum dude, you are becoming Idiot. take it easy on the alcohol..

you are insulting everyone randomly here, and you are not aware of it. No I am not stupid, but I would ask you that actually, I discuss something with you, but you start insulting if you don't agree.

Snoop, it's impossible to discuss anything with anybody on this forum right now. Every single Italy supporter that I have seen says that the USA was not the better team on the night, which is contrary to most views of neutral spectators I am seeing.

Then after days and days of people saying the USA are overrated crap, with people declaring 4-0 wins for Italy, we come back and at least match Italy, and probably outplay them. I guess people are too shocked to think clearly and see the same match. Or perhaps people are choking while eating their own words.

andy i dont understand why you take it all so seriously.

i for one havent said anything about who was better. but you got to understand i cant turn my back on the team which i support, although they didnt take the advantage when players had been sent off.

But i also dont say usa was bad, usa was good, defenetly, playing with one man less and coming close to score second goal. it was a good result to them.

Whats sad is that it could have been a totally differant game without de rossi mistake and that ref who decided to show 3 reds in one match.

and again andy, you generalize with your "every single italy supporter" and that all azzurri fans expected 3:0 win to italy.

as i already said in other thread, i hoped for a win, but i didnt expect easy game, even if czechs won easily.

every game is differant and so is the result. this is not epl or serie a where stronger teams on paper win games. This is world cup. Cant underestimate any team.

Ofcourse i understand your frustration, because there have been a lot of talks about usa football, their standings in the fifa list isnt deserved, they are overrated and etc and etc.

Wow thats a new insult. And no, I dont want Lippi's unit. In fact in that Italy-USA thread I said people were being too confident. Congratulations for your team because they were really good today. Especially the goalkeeper. What I didnt like was the HUGE amount of fouls the american players did. They just wouldnt stop fouling. In the end I guess a 1-1 draw was the perfect result, but the referee made some questionable calls.

It was amazing how Italy (who wasnt doing anything in the first half) was able to convert the only chance they had to a goal. And the US did a great job to just be playing with nine men.

Well I guess now what the US needs is an italian win (how ironic) and to beat Ghana, which I guess will be hard since the USA hasnt scored a valid goal so far in this World Cup...

And instead of insulting us azzurri fans, why dont you insult someone who actually deserves to be insulted like De Rossi

Im glad Del Piero got to be a part of the game and he almost scored two!!!

Lets see if they manage to score a valid goal by themselves against Ghana and not receive free gifts from idiots like Zaccardo
Zaccardo is just unlucky, I mean if that same cross was crossed a 100 times, he wouldv'e cleared 99!!

I take it seriously because almost everybody here does nothing but slag my team off, even the Italian-Americans who say they don't support the US. People such as Seven say we played like immature little "kids" when in actuality he adores players such as Totti and De Rossi on the Azzurri, people such as Badass whateverhispatheticnameis calls Americans pussies, and people such as Elvin gives us another moment of brilliance and calls Americans idiots. There has been a long history of intolerance towards Americans on this forum, as in many other aspects of life. So when I log on here and see people bashing my team without restraint, not giving an unbiased report on the proceedings of the match, of course I'm going to take it seriously..

Some posters such as yourself do not fit into this group I'm talking about, however you have to say most Azzurri fans that posted in the Italia thread were being biased. Seven himself even stated Italy were clearly the better team, but then again he's a prototypical hypocrite and certainly not Mr. Objectivity. Italy fans such as yourself and Fabiana know what you're talking about, and I applaud you for that and like hearing your opinions. But when the majority of the forum is seemingly against me, talking rubbish that is oh so common in discussions that involve the United States, of course I'm going to take it seriously..

Other American posters have left this board because of the the ill-feelings towards us, and I was close to leaving as well before. But I figured I would stick through it and just be a fucking pain in the ass. ;)

Just please understand where I'm coming from and know why it seems I'm out to get people on this board.

Andy it seems so ironical that of all the people, you open this thread:

http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16210

especially now when reading your comments about todays match.
I opened that thread after a pm request by Seven, and also requests by other posters. It turned out to be a good idea because obviously there are quite a few Azzurri fans on this forum, probably at least half of the board.

I didn't open that thread because I'm in love with the Azzurri. ;)

Indeed, and my sincerest of apologies to you and the other good Azzurri supporters. I was just tired of dealing with typical anti-American insults and people saying we were crap.

And no, that apology doesn't apply to you, Andries.

What's to discuss? The ref sucked and left a bigger imprint on the match than any player ever could. People who thought the ref favored the U.S. have highly selective memory. Italy did not capitalize -- on opportunities and on the man-up situation. The USA was determined to go down with a fight, and often that meant fight was all they had.

Azzurri fans can complain that they should have pantsed the USA, but the USA was abnormally dreadful against the Czechs and were capable of far more. Terrible comparison -- particularly for all the fools who would use one game to judge a team. Just ask the Czechs.

The USA is capable of much better matches than today's as well, as is Italy. 1-1 was pretty much a deserved finish for two stalemated teams that couldn't live up to their best. End of story.

Andy, back to reality please. I have stated over and over again that I hate Totti, that I think he shouldn't even be on the team and that his presence is making Italy weaker. I like De Rossi because what he's capable of, but I think he should be sent home after yesterday. No need to make things up Andy.

Italy WERE in fact the better team, they had better chances. It's as easy that. You can choose not to acknowledge that and say Italy was piss poor, which they were, but the USA wasn't grand either.
