You know I had a dream last night, about a superhero. It was a beautiful dream and a powerful one. The hero prevented bank robberies, walked old ladies across the street, arrested crooks who were about to escape, dodged bullets, provided water to those who have none, busted woman beaters, he was awesome. :strong: I kept looking at his face to see who he was, but he wore a mask.

But then I woke up, I slowly opened my eyes and.. there he was in my room, floating in the air. It was the first time I could see him up close, as he wasn't flying somewhere far away. As I glanced down, the emblem on his chest, the three exclamation marks, they were glowing. At his belt there were many different devices. A radio, handcuffs, a baton, gloves and a box of that chalk weightlifters use. Below the belt, the most humongous thighs you've ever seen, sparkling in the sunlight, covered in baby oil. I could see every muscle, every vein. The sunlight in my room was so bright that I couldn't see his face. I squinted and I finally saw. The mask was gone. It was not Spiderman, it was not Superman, it was...... Vinman. But just as I came to from this shock, thinking that perhaps I was still dreaming, just as I was about to speak, he flew out the window.

For is America not the police of the world. And is Vinman not the policeman of the world. In daytime, Vincent, a normal man, a police officer, comes home to his wife, eats the same food that we do, works out, watches tv, plays video games with voice behind Giovanni Ribisi. But when dusk settles, when the uniform comes off and a different uniform comes on. When the mask covers his face, he becomes.. :star: Vinman :star:. He speaks like no other man, he is invincible to spelling and punctuation. In fact, he IS punctuation. He will eat you for breakfast whoever you are, just as soon as you say the wrong thing. He will correct you, guide you. His Ray Of Contempt will disarm you, put you in your place. He fears not the ultimate evil, the Yuropeen. He scoffs at your headquarters in Brussels, your social security, free medical aid, at your long holidays, your tiny fuel efficient cars and your rotten attitude. The world doesn't need people like you, so shape up or I take you down. Down town.

He speaks like no other man, he is invincible to spelling and punctuation. In fact, he IS punctuation.

Yes, it was like the French flag.. his left arm was blue, the chest and shorts were white, his right arm was red. Across the chest was a round border, in its center the emblem: "!!!". Just above it, on the left, barely visible, was the Nike logo. The belt was thick brown leather and a giant buckle reading simply "Vinman".

I find hypocricy in having a suit like the French flag though. Aren't the French European?

Well, they also built the Statue of Liberty, helped us win the War of Independence and they make good fries. Just as long as they don't interfere with our b'ness it's aight.

And so it's okay if we borrow from them.

I think what has amazed me most about this entertaining Vinman-Kaiser Celebrity Deathmatch is that, so far, I haven't had to whip out any yellow cards yet.

Not an easy feat indeed. We are witnessing some mutual dishing that has remained top quality here. Sebi, this puts Fight Klub to shame!
they both deserve red afaic, but thats just too much fun :D

Dear Fli:

I was replying in agreement to Tehir saying you had a vendetta against Burke and you denying it. Since this is a forum that promotes individual thought, I put in my own two cents, which of course was sarcastic and ended with my trademake thumbs up . All this should not have been difficult to figure out. Perhaps one day you will grow into somone with the class and maturity to understand that I was merely stating an opinion, which I am entitled to.

As for you're classy comment about sticking to "dude, im like sooo drunk".

 I laugh at you because I knw you are young and have now known a woman's love, a baby's gigle, the song of the wind, the touch of a Milanista under the full light of the moon when the wind is cold and the ground is wet and all that separates you from death is the passionate warmth one recieves when he finally "knows" love, etc. And for those reasons I can forgive you. But alas, I must correct you. You are mistaken, I never say dude, even in the "real word". Ask Andy, I am more of a Bra/homeskillet guy. I rarely admit drunk posts, though I do admit posting while drinking when the door is opened. See your pocket guide to court room antics under Open Door Policy. Congratulations on your spelling of the word are. Next time we're online together we can have a Spelling B. Last time I checked ae is not in the English dictionary. Time has come for the end of this letter as I am sure a grammar school somewhere in Scotland is missing your sevices at this moment. Perhaps you can come on the sheep drive as well as my beloved Nicky. But, you will need your own sleeping bag.

Sincerely yours,

Enron E. E. Jackson
wow.

edit. ok, now a have some time so i'll try to address some of the points you raised here, dear enron.

first of all, i've never denied i dont like burke. i just disagree with this "personal vendetta" thing. i did say on numerous occasions that i dont like burke and i still think he's probably the most useless member to ever sign up, but you said it yourself, we are all entitled to an opinion, so am i not? the reason i replied to your previous post is that you said that i warn him on every occasion i get. im sorry, just warned him for derogatory remark about the english. if you think that is wrong maybe you should stop visiting this forum. and all of a sudden its a vendetta. just because you lot think burke can say anything and get away with. sorry to ruin your beliefs then.

and one more thing, mr. grammar nazi. funny that you take a piss out of my typo of the word "are" when you yourself make mistakes spelling other persons name. thats just beautiful.

not even sure why i bother here, but  is not your trademark. its a smilie on a internet board.

and please save yourself the hassle when telling me about class. burke is your friend, enough said.

dont bother responding,
regards, fli.

Maldini: I Don't Want Those Scudetti The Milan captain commented about the Moggi-gate.

Paolo Maldini showed all of his indignation at how things were going in the past seasons due to the 'system' erected by Luciano Moggi and his friends.

"They piloted everything, it's a disgrace. I'm nauseated, but football is my life.

"I don't want those Scudetti because I don't like celebrating fot titles already celebrated by others."

The Italian living legend gave his opinion about Moggi.

"I considered him the funniest one. I demand justice; whoever did any wrongdoing must go back home and never return. The rules already exist, we just have to respect them."

Maldini has his ideas clear who should take over, and defended Marcello Lippi.

"We should start again from Casarin and Collina, the number one of the referees. I don't understand why Lippi should take a step back."

Lippi backed as Italy boss Monday 22 May, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coach Marcello Lippi will be leading Italy at the 2006 World Cup Finals, it has been confirmed on Monday.

There have been suggestions over recent days that Lippi could resign, or be forced to quit, given his presence in a number of intercepted telephone calls that have come to the attention of magistrates investigating the GEA World football agency.

But Lippi, whose agent son Davide has links with the organisation, has today been backed by new Italian Football Federation commissioner Guido Rossi.

“There is total and absolute faith, from myself and the CONI President [Italian Olympic Committee chief Gianni Petrucci] in the squad and the Coach,” Rossi said at Italy’s training base on Monday.

“I have never had any doubts with regard to Lippi’s position,” added the man handed the unenviable task of cleaning up calcio.

“It would have been utter madness to point the finger of blame to Lippi in this case, ignoring the real people responsible for this situation.

“There are conflicts of interest here, but I have nothing to lament Lippi about. You can’t accuse anyone of wrongdoing until there is real proof of it.”

The 23-man Azzurri squad, plus the four reserves, met up for training at the Coverciano facility in Florence this morning and Rossi was himself presented with a No 10 Azzurri jersey.

“I have found a serene environment here,” added the new FIGC chief. “I even got a little emotional when I was handed the shirt by the players.

“I’ve told the team that I believe in them, with the hope that this terrible illness which has hit the Italian game can be sorted out by the team on the field of play by giving the first sign of change.

“We as a Federation will offer our maximum support and also give as much protection as possible.

“The team is a strong one, but there is no doubt that the opposition could indulge in some nasty surprises by taking advantage of what is happening in Italy right now.

“The phrases of [Franz] Beckenbauer? I didn’t expect them, but they are part of the sporting competition. He profited from that and he made a mistake.”

Maybe I have nothing to do with this or probably I'm sticking my nose....But, I just don't get it, is it a style to try to piss of Vinman?? because if you guys think it is, I just can't find the style....or the point.

-It's not like your pissing him off with these silly posts...
-It's not like you look funny with these longs posts

Sometimes, I feel members around here are obliged to laugh or to insert a smiley just to keep it up with the poster who's trying to make a show here.

Lippi never pondered quitting
Monday 22 May, 2006
Marcello Lippi says there was no way that he was going to step down as Italy boss on the eve of the World Cup Finals.

Some sections of the media were suggesting that Lippi be replaced over his 'involvement’ in the GEA World investigation, but the tactician insists there was no reason to walk away.

“The media asked me to resign, but there are only two motives which push someone to take such a step,” he said after being backed by the FIGC commissioner Guido Rossi.

“The first is if something is uncovered and you need to run away. The second when you have a clear conscience, but you are left disappointed.

“You stay in place if you have a good relationship with whom you are working with. In this sense, we are ready to go head on with a lorry.

“I’m delighted with Rossi’s words and the backing which he and [Italian Olympic Committee chief Gianni] Petrucci gave me.”

The newspapers have dedicated large amounts of space to Lippi’s situation in recent days, but he insists some of what has been written was rather misleading.

“I’ve read a lot of inaccurate things written about me in the papers. I’ll clear things up again, for one last time,” he continued.

“I have never had an agent in my life and I’ve never had any relationship with GEA. My son has never been my representative.

“I have had a rapport with [Luciano] Moggi and other figures in the game, but I was never pressured into doing anything.”

The various investigations into the running on the Italian game have been an unwelcome distraction to Lippi’s plans, but he’s hoping that it could unite the group.

“The squad is serene and everyone is calm,” he said. “We must transform what is happening to us presently into something good, a positive force.

“From this afternoon, all I will do is think about my squad and the World Cup,” continued the tactician.

“Beckenbauer says that we will pay for this situation at the World Cup? We are going to Germany in order to win back the belief of people by playing great football.”
