trying my best to think as a defense attorney, ala Pado, I came up with one possibility that could see Juve spared any relegation or title stripping

many ppl bring up the case of Genoa last season, where they sent down to Serie C1 for a match fix. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasnt the owner of Genoa involved with that ??

My contention on behalf of Juve is that the owners did not have any knowledge of what Moggi was doing. Moggi, as we all know, is not one of the owners of this team, so I dont see why the Agnelli's couldn't plead their case, and see just Moggi punished for this, if the investigation confirms it.

We Have a figurehead President, Franzo Grande Stevens, who needs a map to find his way to Torino, and a figure head VP in the honorable Mr. Bettega. Moggi runs the show at Juve, and he acts on behalf of the club, he does not act on behalf of himself.

Regarding Genoa, the owner delivered a briefcase of cash to Venezia and got caught. Genoa was demoted down one division. People will argue that Juve get a punishment in line with what Genoa got.
