actually i dont know if i believe in any form of a supreme being, but anything that pado says is like a religion for me. im coming to raleigh on the 30th november, roberto
Great! This is really starting to take off. Claire has committed, as well as someone known simply as "Shoe Guy" from Providence, RI. The city streets will be closed down for many blocks. Musical guests include Sly & Family Stone, Hole, Radio Head, and Counting Crows - yes, there is something for everyone (except wiggas like Andy).

Burke is entered in the Cummy Feet competition and you can even swim in a giant vat of beer. Don't you wish all religions were this much fun?

You're a law student, Fliakis. This should be a breeze for you.
whats this got to do with anything here?

Yes, because political matters have to do with facts...stating God does or doesn't exist is not a "fact."
you have facts and everyone's take on those facts. i've seen numerous political discussions here where none of the parties was 100% correct.

Not so, Andrew. If you say "Bush was wrong to go to war in Iraq" you will get hundreds of varrying opinons and the verdict on such events usually cannot be told for tens of years, if ever. Have we yet resolved the question of the wisdom of fighting that unwinnable little war in Vietnam? Nope.

However, we have the underlying facts below the opinions, such as the fact that no weapons of mass destructions have been found as of yet, and the fact that removing Saddam from power has had positive and negative effects on the Iraqi populous. The matter of religion is much more touchy than that of politics IMO.

reiterating what i said before, Shadowfax stirred it from a religious discussion to a historical one. But some members chose to blaspheme to act all "cool".
Bullshit. Just because some folks subscribe to faiths and religions that you deem to be false does not make it blasphemous. Or, do you want to state with 100% certainty that Muslims or Christians or whomever are correct and that Aztecs or Hutus or Hindus are wrong?

kind sir you jumped the gun and misunderstood me, maybe the usage of the word blaspheme was acid to your eyes. i was plainly referring to those who sought to offend by insulting said deities.

oh and btw hutus are an ethnicity not a religion, though they might as a group be wrong about their race :)

well that not far from what i think of burke but then again..
This is why YOU reply to Bürke's posts or whoever thinks like that of him.

Hey, Seven I hope you weren't offended, I did not mean that to you...I just said that when people (including me) think low of someone they tend to reply and bash. A perfect example, you think low of Zlatan you tend to bash him. I think low of certain members, I tend to bash them.

It is actually today because Christopher Columbus discovered America on oct 12th 1492, not on the second monday of october :)
And according to the Julian calendar of 1492, October 12 was a Friday.

Who are the ad wizards who came up with that one?
