What would we do without sports? Today I woke up at about 11am and watched Mochengladbach against Stuttgart in Burke's infamous basement. After picking up Burke's sister Logan from the mall I went back North play a match for my college team against PSU York, and then proceeded to come back home to watch the Juventus match and the American College football game between my school Penn State and my second favorite university the Wolverines of Michigan. I was rather pissed off that Henne threw a touchdown in the last second of the game to win it for Wolverines, bringing my school's record down to 6-1...but hey at least we are still on top of the Big Ten. After that disapointment I watched USC beat Notre Dame in the final seconds of the game (again) and was pissed off once again because I cant stand those fvcking Trojans...at least our buddy Sergio Lenza Jr was satisfied and giddy with delight. Then I tuned into the DC United match to watch an abysmal performance by two MLS sides, and right now I'm watching my beloved Red Wings take on Gretzky's no-name Phoenix Coyotes. Without sports my life would be paltry and insignificant.
Thank you, sports.
