Funny thread but I'm not sure why it needed to be titled "Pado against the Shoe"
Despite popular belief I didn't pick this title "Nick against the World"...it was Martin's handy work....it began as Juve fact of the week or something. Martin felt it should be changed because rather than being about Juve it was about posters attacking me and in return yours truly telling them WHY they are wrong about ...everything.

OK, finally watched DS last night. The award that Capello and Giraudo received last night? It was pretty much about Juventus being good world abmassadors for truffles. Seriously. I believe it's white truffle (tartufo) season in Piemonte right now, and they seemed to be at a dinner in honor of a truffle event at some ritzy gastronomical society of Piemonte.
So what are tartufi? Crazy, mushroom-like stuff with an intense smell that grow deep in the ground ... to where they often train dogs or even pigs to root them out. Why? Because they go for as much as 5000€ per kg. And there's Capello with a big smile as they shave 50€ layer after layer on what he's eating...
