That's pretty sick Nick...however I have a question. Being born and raised in the US (I assume), why don't you support American soccer and our National Team, if you dont mind me asking?
Goddamnit...ESPN2 is showing Betis-Liverpool and Villareal-Manure next week. Looks like we will have to suffer through another year of very few CL matches involving Italian clubs shown LIVE on TV. :frown:
At least they are showing a match both days, though.

While we are last but one, with 8 points. Only ahead of San Marino... and behind Spain, Serbia, Bosnia:down:, and Latvia
they wont. in fact, we'll finish 3rd in the group, above bosnians. who were the luckiest team this week. unlike lithuanians, who were the unluckiest one.
too bad bosnian fans had loads of police guarding them.
I just got home from soccer practice and I just watched Sky Sport News. England lost to Northern Ireland.
Hahahahaa
I will be the happiest man alive if England does not qualify for this World Cup. Haha, the supposed "favorites" don't even qualify. That would be a dream come true.
Its not actually that funny considering it was a British game, one that Northern Ireland have been looking forward to for years. Played in Belfast, perhaps the most intimdating location in the UK and played in front of THAT crowd.
We sucked, NI deserved it. Embarassing? A little, but regardless of them being a shit team, they were fantastic.
We'll come back next game, qualify and still whip the US in the finals
BTW when your finished at laughing your ass off at England, Spain etc not qualifying there isnt going to be much of a competition left.
Your fault for not scoring from the few chances you had. You were lucky we didnt score a second goal in the end.

Fuck off? WE were lucky? We were better than Spain at hom but onyl managed 1-1, we were better than Serbia at home, but they managed to draw due to a fdw stunning saves from their keeper, we were better than Lithuania at home yet you managed to score. We were up 1-0 against Spain until the 97th minute, and we got two players sent off.
And you call us lucky?
We'll beat San Marino and there's no way you can overtake us. Go and donate some money to build a decent stadium.
P.S. And what would have you dont if there wasnt so much police big guy? Probably get your ass kicked all the way to your fishing boat.
I agree with that.. I'm just waiting for it to hit the stores.. This'll probably be the 5th album I've actually bought.. (College Dropout being one of the other four of course.. )

What a load of crap...if it was Brazil and Italy not qualifying for the tournament something would indeed be wrong, however two countries that combine for just one World Cup isn't as much of a loss as you would think. Countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Italy, and many others have a chance of winning the tournament. There are still enough challengers for the World Cup to make it a good tournament, and like I said when you're team is playing and doing well it will be a good tournament no matter what.
However I doubt both England and Spain will miss out on Germany.

I never said I don't support American Soccer and our National Team however, the Italian national team is and always will be the team in my heart...I still have memories (albeit I was young) of Italy capturing the 82 World Cup...grew up watching Serie A....literally learned to master the Italian language as a kid reading the Gazzetta della Sport...
Growing up Soccer was never given a chance so naturally I didn't even bother trying to convince people to watch...Also, the National team really had it first emergence in 1994. By that time I was so into Serie A and the Italian team that there was really no passion for our side.

England didn't qualify in 1994 ... were they really missed??
Spain not qualifying....when is the last time they made the final or actually had a chance of winning it?? i.e. sometimes their presence isn't even felt.
Sorry to break it to you but at the end of the day it really wouldn't affect the tournament .....

Now thats very silly. Brazil and Italy missing would be wrong. But France, England and Spain missing wouldn't?
Something you hold onto a little too tight. Because these countries havent won as many times dosent mean they havent given as much to the tournament.
A tournament without England, Spain and France, as you said, isn't a world cup for me. To not have 3 of the best footballing nations represented at a world cup is unthinkable. I cant think why anyone would not want to see the best nations there, oh yeah I can. Bias is wonderful.
That sucks I love San Marino...and don't even compare Belgium to the great Republic. From its famous founder Marinus to its own coins and stamps what is there not to love about the hill above Rimini. :cheesy:
