People doubting the lad, can you please do me a favour and watch him tonight and watch him for Santos. The talent is there and there is a reason alot of the big teams want him.
like huntelaar yesteryear, right ?

pulling the trigger in a league that is probably even worse in defending than the dutch league is nothing that has not been before many times, just for the player to flop in europe.

it actually reminds me much of the huntelaar situation, because the rare footage i saw of him actually consisted of tapins, average shots or headers, but never a ronaldo'esque performance where he singlehandedly created a goal by dribbling around a few players

Huntelaar was known to be a big-time choker combined with a poacher who couldn't cope with pressure. Real knew it and I even dont know why Milano bought him. If Ajax played a big and important match/derby, Huntelaar disappeared, he got his goals scoring against relegation teams and that gave him some sick statistics.

I can't see any simelarities between Neymar and Huntelaar in terms of football, I think Neymar has the potential to be big, but with his price tag no European ''top'' club wants to take the gamble and European sub-top clubs simply can't afford him, the media, his attitude, and the price-tag will probably fuck it up for this kid. I think he would've been better of if he goes to a smaller club in Europe first for one or two years and than make the jump to a big club. I don't want to see another Brazillian who gets praised like mad being shipped to a top club and don't make it there and gets sold, and sold and sold..

We need a killer in front of goal, not a fancy dribbler with tricks.

This team would be better with a Cassano-Dzeko than a Neymar-Amauri/Iaquinta. We can get almost 2 great players for the cost of him. We don't have money to burn on a player that's never played in europe. I'd rather we spend that on Suarez if we had to choose between the 2.

A 20+ striker >Neymar. Ask yourself, would it have been better to have bought Neymar now, or Trezeguet when we did?

Goals lead to wins, and that's what this team needs. No more average joes up top.
Lol you are fucking clueless. Neymar is anything but just a showpony, he is extremely productive, in scoring, creating space and assisting. All around attack weapon (look at the clip posted, scores solo dribbling goals, poacher/clinical goals, every kind). He wouldnt be this hyped if he wasnt, he is 18 and already scored 50 goals for his club and generally carries them.

And lol at the second bolded part, was only recently Pastore was in South America too :p And look what everyone saying about him already, best attacking mid in league etc. And do you think Milan regret they bought Pato off the lowly brasilian league (even if Neymar dominated that league 5 times more then Pato who had just started out before he left). Or Atletico with Aguero, or Real with Higuain, should I go on?

Please don't.

Hustini knows it was a silly comment.

Anyone seen Neymar today against argies? He played real well. Would been much better if he had a prima punta to play off, instead of useless Robinho.

I hope we don't sign him. Any south American reporter that talks about him says he's an idiot. I don't think he's worth the hassle.

Osman, I don't think you've read my other posts. Neymar is an expensive toy we don't need to be looking at yet. Sure he is good, but for 30m or more, no thanks. Let's get a more established team before we start doing a Pato, Pastore, and all the others you mentioned.

Pastore didn't cost 30+m for palermo and Milan had an established CL winning team that could afford pato. Neymar is going to cost much more than they did. If you want to find the next big thing then find it before someone else does and get them on the cheap.

Nevermind the contract his big head would require, his transfer fee alone would take most of a budget, especially with all the loan buys we may or may not make and if we don't then we have even more holes to fill. We are the team that's ready to pay that for a kid. Maybe in 2 years but now it doesn't make sense.

But hey, what do I know I'm on pot and clueless but at least andy forgives me...

We must find the money! He might cost us 30m now but will be worth it. And im sure in 2 years time he will be worth 70m!. Damn I want this to happen!.. YEAH at any cost. Sell Amauri, Iaquinta, Sissoko... Just make it happend :snoop:

Please Mark (Marotta) ? :D

Have a feeling he might be the next Robinho if he comes here. The Santos gang has a tendency to flop (Robinho, Diego)

And doing well in Brazil doesn't mean ish. Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos are still active there for fucks sake
