I don't really know what the previous management was trying to achieve. Looking back, their 'project' was to spend without really thinking about the team. At least now it seems like the club wants to reduce the age and salary, and make the club more dependent on itself (stadium and youth system).
Yes, and the reason for them wanting to reduce the age and salary of the team is because of the short sightedness and impatience of the previous regime.

They put Juve into this mess.

I saw him quite a lot. He was great for Bordeaux, not as good with Lyon so far. We should have bought him for that price.
Gourcuff was pruchased by Milan for 3.5 million. Granted, they made a huge mistake by eventually selling him, but the point is that even Milan does a better job of scouting than juventus.
3.5 million, damn

If our chief scout rated Hazard so highly, then why didn't we buy him?
I think because we dont play 4-3-3 like ajax does, but did we ever bought fragile creative players ? we'd need to change our systhem if we'd do that.
Juventus is supposed to be strong, organised , extremely determaind. can we be that with hazard ?

They put Juventus into a bigger mess than what I think most give them credit for. Give that group of people the 2006 team without Del Piero, Trezeguet, Camoranesi and Nedved and see how screwed they would be by February 2011. Almiron/Andrade/Amauri/Poulsen/Tiago/Diego were wonderful.

With barca & Chelsea in the mix, we can dream on. So sorry Nick.:p
False news imo.

Explain how barca can keep affording all these players? I coulda sworn they had problems paying wages a while back. Besides that they have plenty of 'striker' and they don't even technically play with a striker . Chelsea on the other hand just bought a 50m torres, wth do they look like spending another 20-30m on another striker, combined a total of 70-90 spent on strikers alone!

Chelsea is the most likely destination. They need a creative guy for the frontline.

Barca has Pedro for the left spot of the trident attack, and he's done a pretty good job. Of course that doesn't matter and they could still buy Neymar.
