What bothers me here is the incompetence of the police, the prosecutor and finally the courts. You can't have evidence for something that never took place. Which means the police can't have found any, the prosecutor should have decided not to go through with the case and the judge should have ruled there was no proof of guilt.

Any wrongful conviction is a horrendous mistake from a lot of people.

This woman's case is definitely very sickening but I have far too often heared that "she is not attractive enough to be raped/assaulted" which is such bullshit. Rape really is not about that, regardless of the victim's gender. The woman in this case in fact had sex with one or two of the victims, so the "she is not good enough" bs doesn't hold here (nor anywhere else).

Sometimes, yes. In fact lots of times yes. But when the rapist chooses his victim he might as well choose someone attractive.

Also, it's not exactly easy to maneuver someone who weighs 300 pounds. So even in terms of making the entire thing possible it matters.
