So at a time when permanent residents of the EU have performed attacks that have killed hundreds by now, you choose to focus on an incident involving a 17 year old who injured four people with an axe before being shot to death? I don't know. I'd guess it's bad too, but the only reason you'd focus on this instead of the Paris, Brussels and Nice attacks that have been far, far worse would be that you have an agenda.

Well I don't think they had to take as many as they did, certainly when it comes to a point where they can't even be checked.
Not being able to check them is a problem, yes. And the response has been far from perfect. But not taking in refugees from a country like Syria is not only completely inhumane, but also a violation of international law.

I didn't say none, but I don't think they would have to take so many. At this point you could say they should just take all of them, because what's the difference really?

International law really doesn't mean that much anyway, countries break "international laws" all the time and nothing happens.

I don't know where ZoSo is from, but I get the impression that his country has very strict immigration policies :D.

We all have our biases and bigotriea but when one is so entrenched in his views he obviously hasnt been around
Yep, I haven't left my neighbourhood ever.

Get yer own island.
Yeah, makes sense he's from an island. And I guess Australia is pretty strict in terms of immigration these days. But I still expected something more remote. He seems xenophobic in the true sense of the word: scared of strangers.

I thought he was from Pitcairn tbh.

Ask @Nenna about Australia's retarded policies and attitude towards immigrants. You will be suprised.

Soft like Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, 'Murica, Egypt and Turkey?

With liberty comes 'softness', but I guess you have wet dreams about Hoxha?
I am from Kosovo so Hoxha doesn't really apply for me.

You either adapt to the country you are or go fuck goats to where ever you belong too, even if you were born in that state.

Can you imagine that happening in Europe? Insane, not even Geert Wilders and Le Pens put together would be allowed to go through with such heinous practices :p
Damn. In the back of my mind I knew Australia was tough, didn't know it was that tough.

It's not the same thing at all but the situation in the camps in France is pretty horrible as well. Greece is supposed to be worse, but I've never had refugee clients open up to me about that. Several women complained about sexual violence in the French camps though. Mostly from other refugees. I had one woman who was raped in France, got pregnant and gave birth to a boy but was too sad to even tell her mother, because she was supposed to leave for Europe for a better life and she felt like her mother would be affected very badly by the news.

Shit like that goes to the core when you know what certain people say about refugees.
