Not true.:D

Anywho, WV just rolled back concealed permit laws. Permit no longer necessary. In the past you paid $100 and took a class, if you pass you get the permit, if not, you don't. Always thought that was pretty reasonable. Guess not.
What is the media like there in regards to gun crime?

Every state is different but I can see WV saying fuck it, just go buy a gun. :D

Yeah it says 100 inches on there, I just can't read :D
You gained 20 inches but when I discuss inches I can't help but think of @Osman.

Most newspapers run articles about the violence. It's looked at as an American problem, as most guns in Mexico come from the US. And then most drugs trafficked or grown in Mexico are purchased by Americans. Part of it's true and part of it is the usual developing world horse shit about blaming other for their corruption.

Yeah, but before it was like a driver's license. You prove you can properly operate one and you can carry it around like pack of Juicy Fruit. You don't prove it, then you can't. Simples. Now everyone can carry concealed. And while yes everyone can have a gun, not everyone should. Which is why I don't.

If I carried, I'd imagine if have murdered about 8 people by now including a few relatives if I count up the number of times I got surprised on a dark street or got in an escalating argument with someone.

That just shows you have no self-control.

Interesting how its an "American problem" yet they are completely fine allowing immigrants to pass right through their country which means their borders aren't secure.

I don't carry one nor do I have one either but I am pro-2nd :D

I'm not a fan of concealed carry but in certain places I can understand how it would help. Where I live, I definitely don't need to carry a gun and would feel awkward if I did. But if I drive 40 minutes away, I would feel uncomfortable without one and some people have no choice but to live in areas like that.

Agreed. I don't "need" one where I live but I want one because you never know. I'm about to have another little girl and there is an immigrantion issue in Prince William County where I live. When you do a "sexual" predator search where I live the majority of pedophiles/rapists are Latino here so having a house with 3 girls is going to stress me out.

Solution is not arming people, but fixing the problem that makes people uncomfortable and feel unsafe to be unarmed in areas like those.

In theory it should be, but the potential danger would still be there and the gun culture is strongly ingrained. Won't work or happen in the States.

Potential danger is socetial and police issue, but gun culture is another animal, and its prolly the main reason for it all, its so common and part of every day solution that its hard to see it in any other way for them.

The world's full of dangerous ghettoes, but you are more likely to be beat up, or at worse knife play, then to be shot up in prolly many countries that dont have similar kind of gun culture despite having similar or even higher levels of danger.

I think it's too late to fix the issue in the USA. Everyone shouting constitution! seems to have one. Good luck trying to get it out of their hands.
One of the few things right about this country is the control on guns. Do we have gun related deaths, sure. I'm just glad procuring one is really difficult and most local made ones, which is easier to get for criminals, blow up in their faces :D

"Too late" is the point. The other arguments I hear are pretty stupid.

What needs fixed? It's the criminals everyone needs to worry about, NOT the people shouting constitution.

People that think murder rates would drop if guns were "controlled" are ludicrous because if someone wants to murder someone with a gun and can't get a gun they go grab a knife, hammer, or crowbar, etc. Makes no difference, if someone is intent on killing mass children and can't get a gun they will make a homemade bomb or hijack a school bus full of kids.

Controlling guns or "gun control" should be the least of our worries here. Fixing violent behavior, video games at young ages, rap music, etc should be the priority. Fixing Af-Am urban areas in big cities would also be another step in the right direction. Can't do that with a democrat in office though. :D
