Whatever, you know there's something terribly wrong when an unarmed man gets killed by five armed allegedly trained cops because of an alleged misconduct. I know damn well that pepper spray leaves you, unarmed and alone, no option. Handcuffs are there then for a purpose. It would be possible though only if the cop cared to use his brain, if he had one to begin with. He resisted arrest? Big deal. Now if you want to look objective and rational, I suggest that you start with finding flaws in that logic.
that's not true, less than lethal weapons don't at all guarantee compliance especially when the individual is drunk, on drugs, or the kind of roided out asshole that thinks he can fight cops. and since you cant fit five cops in a car its likely that a significant part of the altercation (including what cost the man his life) occured before there was such a show of force on scene, yet we can't know that because the video is nothing but useless footage. as for me being biased i dont remember saying that what the cops did was justified anywhere.

as for the bolded im not sure what you mean there.

Yeah, resisting arrest is actually a pretty big deal
It's legal to resist arrest an unlawful arrest.

Simple google search shows us that there wasn't much to the arrest. The cops heard there was a domestic situation. Mother slapped daughter. Father was running after the daughter to calm her down. Cops stopped father. Asked for ID. He refused to give ID, (not illegal) cops declared him combative. Arrest ensued. 2 of the cops were off duty police doing OT at the theater. 2 were off duty wildlife officers. 2 were on duty police there to take care of a drunken patron. Hard to say if the police killed the man or if his lifestyle did (he's fat and fatties smother easy). But they could have avoided the situation by asking a couple of questions. Also, if you ever get arrested (and this is to everyone) do not resist the arrest. You're going in no matter what you do and if it's unlawful you can sue later on, but the worse thing that happens if you resist is death and that's just not worth it.

So they ended up firing 10 shots at him? :lol2: Even if he had the knife, with so many people around it was easy to handle the situation. What they did should get all of them fired, freakin' morons.
40 something shots.

Man, I thought people had seen those photos on the net years ago...

You know China's standards of living are increasing when bored teens are resorting to stabbing people to death for entertainment.

Shows you how much of a bloody racist I am: I found it neither funny nor offensive.

Why would someone be offended by that? People need to loosen up a little bit.
Because if a person is white and they are trying to make fun of another non-white person by emulating them, including their race as part of that imitation is considered racist. But if the roles were reversed, it would not be considered racist. Nor is it considered wrong if the person mocked everything else about that person except for their race.

That's pretty much how it works, even if it is absolutely idiotic logic I'm afraid. A white person is supposed to only mock Whoopi Goldberg in "whiteface" for some reason. :boh:

Personally, I'd find a white woman trying to imitate Whoopi as a white woman arguably even more insulting and insensitive.

I know that & find it comical. I was just thinking aloud how ridiculous it is. People usually dress up as someone they have in high esteem. In this case she probably liked Whoopi's performance.

We have a thing about blackening faces, it's been seen as old school racism because of shows like The Black and White Minstrels Show from decades ago.

Basically it's ill-advised to try to go for a realistic costume/cosplay of a black celebrity. The other way around I doubt one single person would care, as it has no historically racist connotations.

Webster Lucas was given only one napkin when he purchased a meal at a Pacoima, Calif., McDonald’s restaurant. When he went back to the counter asking for more, his request reportedly resulted in not only a napkin refusal by the eatery’s manager but a racist retort as well. Now the man is suing the franchise for emotional distress and asking for $1.5 million, according to TMZ.

The napkin debacle took place Jan. 29. Lucas ordered a Quarter Pounder meal and was given just one napkin. The restaurant’s manager, Angel, reportedly a Mexican-American, allegedly told Lucas that he had already given him a napkin and refused to dole out any more. Upon hearing that he could not receive additional napkins, Lucas mentioned that he should have taken his business elsewhere, stating, “I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn’t come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat.”
Lucas, who is African-American, alleges that after he made his displeasure known, the napkin feud took an ugly turn; he claims to have heard the manager make a racist comment, stating something to the effect of “you people.”

The lawsuit filing states that Lucas decided to escalate his complaint about the service he received at the McDonald’s in question to the establishment’s general manager, Leticia Barrera. The man sent the higher-up an email in which he reportedly detailed how he had to put up with Angel’s unprofessional and “hostile” attitude. Lucas also went on to tell the general manager how Angel demonstrated a “deep-seated attitude towards customers.”
Lucas also claimed in the email to Barrera that he has suffered “undue mental anguish and the intentional infliction of emotional distress,” reportedly all brought about by Angel’s treatment of him.
In return for the distress Lucas suffered at the hands of Angel, the mega food corporation allegedly offered him free burgers, which he has flatly turned down. Instead, Lucas now has a super-sized hunger that apparently only $1.5 million can satisfy, which is more than enough to keep him in burgers for the rest of his life!
