Thanks Jacques, one of the guys I work with takes old junk boxes and installs Linux on them before throwing them out. He figures if someone picks it up and uses it at least they aren't using a Windows product. We tease him about it all the time, but I think he's on to something

nothing much. just watched miami vice and am still having side effects from it.

that's innovative thinking. i have a friend who does a similar thing but he gives them to homes for abandoned kids.

i'd recommend so, yes. it is really horrible, so boring... why it lasts 2 hours is beyond me. oh and it's like a fashion show for cops.

really is. soon we're gonna be replaceing 2 pcs from my firm, i'm gonna hook ubuntu on both and drop them of at the same place. then in a few months when i'll start serving my civil army duty(yes, we still have obligatory army duty here) there, i can teach some kids the basics of linux.

yeah. than i can see first hand if what they say is true; that linux is just as hard as windows to those who never used a pc before. though i won't let them try windows. :devil:

i don't know the specifics yet. my brother is currently serving his duty in a home, but for abondoned babies to the age of 3. since my duty is coming up, i probably won't be able to postpone it, so he asked around if they could place me somewhere and it seems i could end up in a home for kids from 5-12. most of those kids go to normal schools but i suppose they do have work rooms of some sort since they recieve pc, books and stuff. they probably use them for pre-school kids.

my name is Jonathan, i'm 28, and I work in computers. I take care of applications on a mainframe.

Why do I support Juve? Well when I was younger, I worked for a friend at his restaurant in Virginia. His cousin came over from Italy, and he was a Juve fan. He introduced me to Juve. He gave me magazines and let me watch tapes of Juve....I've been hooked since. I've not been able to see them in person, but one day I will.
