And its not about the payment perse, but that Byrone has bought the forum NOW, means the reason you here able to post, and it seems, why its not down right now, is because he bought the site and is paying the fees for servers. Thats not a small thing (though its not 160k ofcourse). And that atleast deserve some kudos, that he is keeping the forum afloat.

And seriously, as I said, beside the 20 dollar bit, he bought the forum so it can stay afloat, not to earn money from it. I know from experience that owning football forums isnt a profitable bussiness.

No, I would not pay 20 dollars to post on an internet forum. And I would definitely never pay for an opinion.

It might become profitable if everyone gives you 20 dollars. Because you might know from experience that that's not the way it usually goes.

He's not scum and I didn't say he was. All I said was that he might try to make a buck out of it. There's nothing wrong with that per se, but I'm not helping him. And even if he's just an altruistic guy, and he might be, I still wouldn't pay.
