Don`t know if it has something to do with it but for me it seems that when Del Piero had his great years we also had much more supportsers at the stadium.
If you look at all the years, you'll see that every time Juve played great attacking football, there were more spectactors. The crowd likes shows.

:agree:

Fans watch the game for passion(to cheer their team to WIN) and entertainment. with attacking football they might get both, with defensive football, fans that have passion might still fill the stadium.

With a continuosly WINNING football team playing somewhat defensively. You lose fans that want entertainment and you lose many Passionate fans that want to cheer the team to victory due to the fact that we always win. So these fans lose some of the fun of supporting the club, a Juve win is too predictable.

Thats how I see it anyways.

Juve is Italy's favourite team, and nobody is going to stay away from a game just because they think Juve will win, that's ridiculous. The reason that Delle Alpi is always empty is because it's a shitty stadium. You can't see anything unless you're near the bottom, and even then, the view is terrible.

With the new stadium, more people will come. A new stadium always starts a hype. Look at Bayern and countless other teams with new stadiums. Sold out and very strong on home turf. I can't wait till we will have a new stadium!

What I didn't understand is why Juve didn't go for the Communale and scrap Delle Alpi all together. It has to hurt the distance. Hopefully, Juve Mondo will be something awesome. The best thing would the metro service if it could have reached there...

anyway, it's alwayx sux juve gets jokes from rival fans about the stadium and the number of fans, it's annoying as hell.

I think there would not have been enough free land around the comunale for all the things we are planning.

I also think that good public transport would be very important.
