If there should be cleaning, it should be done properly and this is what I meant that Moggi will be bringing everyone with him. In the morning I discussed restructuring and it is definitely needed. There are many things in the league that needs fixing; by punishing Juventus to keep their image won't help anything at all. It will work for a small period and blow in their faces later on.
Lega Calcio needs a purging. It's not just Juve either.
And while I have mixed feelings about it, I'm more in the camp that believes that ultimately relegating Juve for this would cause untold damage to Lega Calcio and not just Juve. I think that's why the Juve board resigned, etc. In the end, someone needs to take the fall. And any prosecution needs to claim a legitimate impact and change to the ways of doing business. To that extent, the actions of the Juve board seemed more like a sacrificial lamb than an admission of guilt to me.
A district attorney might be willing to drop third degree murder charges if someone admits to manslaughter ... that sort of thing. Multiple sides claim concessions and victories in the end. It's part of judicial diplomacy.
