Here's a report on this from sportnetwork.con, take a look at the last parts of the article...what an emotionally subjective piece of writting, as if JUVE are already considered criminals and corruptors...

Serie A rocked by Juve-gate
By European Football - May 6 2006

It occurring in Italy rather than America, it is unlikely to lead to the resignation of a president, or for that matter, a long and boring film with Dustin Hoffman, but the latest in a series of scandals for Italian football is hitting the front pages of the nations press.
There are revelations of tapped 'phone conversations involving general manager Luciano Moggi which will lead to an FA enquiry, which will no doubt find after a long series of nothingness, Juventus to be guilty of nothing.

But it is alleged that Moggi is to have attempted to arrange referee selection for specific games in the 2004/05 season with Pierluigi Pairetto, the man in charge of appointing that blind bloke in the middle.

Of course like all good Italians everywhere he was outraged at the suggestion telling Italian news agency ANSA:

"I am very sorry to read things which could appear very different from the reality,"

"Maybe there were some comments which were inopportune but my good faith is beyond question".

Moggi was as usual his forthcoming self merely confirming Juventus’ blanket press ban with the words:

"We have a press ban in place and I have no intention of making in comment. Everything is fine."

Gianni Petrucci, president of Italy's National Olympic Committee, has urged urgent investigations into the matter stating:

"The Federation need to accelerate their investigation in regard to the rights of everyone. Above all, who has erred needs to pay the price. It is clear that we want the image and the ethics to be respected."

To save anyone the bother of wondering what will happen in a few months time though I will give you the outcome now.

Juve officials will look hurt and a bit bemused and state:

'What, Moi?’

'We are hurt and offended by the stain upon my otherwise flawless character.’

To which the judge will retire to his debating chamber, taking special care not to fall over the large bribe in the corner, have a small glass of grappa and find Juve completely innocent of all charges, and their owners, not only innocent, but potentially the reincarnations of Mother Theresa and Jesus’ lovechild.

Upon which they will all exit the courtroom, while angelic music plays in the background and future pictures of the afore mentioned accused, will be commissioned with halo’s to mark their persecution.

At least that is roughly what has happened every other time Juve have been accused of anything.

I think we have to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
Maybe we should concider that there can be a lot of truth in these accusations.

It's not because we are juve fans that we have to close our eyes.
In Belgium the press is writing that Moggi and Giraudi probably have to leave at the end of the season. And not because of their expired contracts.

If this would turn out to be true Juventus could be in some deep troubles. I hope we all realise that. Maybe sometimes it was all to obvious. That triggered the long time accusations.

What do you think about the easy win against Siena, last weekend? We all know that we have good relations with that club.

+

An article also talks about punishing teams who did not support the deals with the TV stations. They say that Milan and Juve influenced the referies to make sure that the teams who protested the deals were punished.

So we are talking here about paying referies(for multiple reasons(for good results, to protect the TV deal,...)), paying other teams for a good result, ....

This is very serieus folks!
+
We also know that during at least 4 years our team used doping as well! (fact, luckely never punished)
I think some persons at Juve should leave the club very soon.

I also hope this will not affect our preparation for next season.

@ jem83 These telephone conversations are real. What has been said also.
maybe some people of the current management should leave after yet another depressing and shamefull case.(yes I don't believe that it's all lies, sorry there is too much going on + that doping thing has always irritated me because it turned out to be true as well, with almost no consequences for the people who knew something about it and who are still hanging around!!!!!!!))

these guys can distroy our club!!

There is probably some truth in this whole saga, although it has been horribly blown out of proportion. Moggi has a conversation by phone with Pairetto where he asks for certain referees for two friendly matches and two CL matches. This is a fact. However, I do not see anything illegal in that - although it is a bit dubious for a club director to do such a thing.

honestly, I'm not a milan fan(why should I write that Milan can be involved in it as well):disagree:
so if you believe there is something going on you can't be a juve fan?????
    That is just sad.
IT'S NOT BECAUSE WE ARE FANS THAT WE HAVE TO CLOSE OUR EYES FOR EVERYTHING THAT MIGHT BE GOING ON!!!

some of you don't even want to believe we had a doping problem between 94 and 98? You can be a fan and try to be realistic at the same time, you know!!
I wish I could share your, shall we call it, "optimisme" but I can't. Sorry.
That doesn't make me a fan of Inter, Milan, Roma or whatever.

    I can't believe what I'm reading here:tdown:

    @ mr. Gol

idd, he should not have done that
it is actually a very stupid thing to do
but I also hope that the media has blown this case out of proportion

i am sorry my friend i didnt want to call you milan fan and i know you like juve but i also know that galliani control the referees and if we lesten to what moggi say on the telephone it maybe have some things that make you think we cheat but if you lesten to galliani you will know milan is the biggest cheaters

last year they stoped zlatan for threee games to make him not play against milan because of trouble with mihailovic and cordoba and when we played with milan inzaghi hit thuram two times on his head and he was not stoped and i amd sure if you heared galliani 's telephone you can make a big problem for milan

again i am sorry my friend saying you are milan fan now i think you love juventus very much
