True, but really he is just a media whore, this could simply be about furthering his own image in Italy. But anyway, whatever, good luck to him, I think black and white strips makes him look stupid  :D

and what better than to make his image better then wearing the shirt of the best italian team

This is the crazy...why is everybody wearing Juve gear? You don't see too many stars sporting that ugly Rossonero. ;)
Because some PR bloke searches for a list of most popular sport teams in Italy, and Juventus has the most fans. The reason why ALL celebrities are wearing Juve shirts is that they are ALL too lazy to be original and just pick the #1 team and not #2 or #3.

Although it may look cool, I'm quite sure that none of them knows who Alessandro Del Piero is.

...And sports is a lot more like show business than most people would care to acknowledge.

The difference between a Tom Cruise and a Francesco Totti is a matter of a technicality.

MILAN - Inter's season ticket number 40,000 for the 2005/06 season bears the name of Spike Lee. The credit card-sized season ticket, along with an Adriano shirt, was given to the American film director this morning at a hotel in Milan.

It is the second year as an Inter season ticket holder for Lee, who has declared his passion for the Nerazzurri colours in the past, defining them as 'the most elegant' in football. In exchange for Massimo Moratti's gesture, Lee gave the Inter patron a copy of his short entitled Jesus Children of America, part of the omnibus film All the Invisible Children produced by Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Chiara Tilesi and Stefano Veneruso. In all, there are seven episodes which recount the experiences of underprivileged and exploited children from around the world. Other famous film directors who worked on the project include John Woo and Emir Kusturica.

Supported by UNICEF and the World Food Program, All the Invisible Children was presented at the Venice International Film Festival last week and will be shown at Italian cinemas in January.

Well what did you think, you thought that he was a real tifoso or something? The guy just wears the shirts because he thinks that they look cool.
