I have read, prepared, and signed quite a few business contracts, and I have never seen a single one in which clauses related to early contact termination due to other party's dishonest behavior would limit the party's ability to terminate the contract. It would be a huge disadvantage. So, theoretically speaking, yes, almost anything can be included into a contract, but I don't see any reason for Guardiola's team to agree to sign something that puts them in such a weak position.
If I understood you correctly (you mentioned early contract termination, then talked about inability to terminate contract rest of the time):

The rumor is, said clause stipulates pep would be free to leave if city doesn't make CL.

Not pep would be unable to leave and would be held hostage which makes no sense in terms of contract or in terms of pep to Juve topic.

What he means is that June 15 deadline makes no sense, because if Pep wanted to free himself from his contract because the other party did something unethical, then it doesn't make sense to put a deadline on it.

That does make sense. You don't want to have to hire a new coach in the middle of preseason.

And that clause would still be beneficial for Pep rather than the club. He gets the option to walk within a time period than no option at all.

Here's @Mark's post where the specific date is mentioned: https://www.juventuz.com/threads/new-juve-coach-the-last-chapter.43983/post-5976045

If I didn't misread it, it looks like there's supposed to be some specific time frame related to the release clause validity in his contract.

I just explained what he said. To me the clause itself with or without deadline doesn't make sense. But stranger things have happened before.

Juve prepare for Sarri and Guardiola?
By Football Italia staff

It’s reported the Juventus social media team are preparing two video packages, one for Maurizio Sarri and the other Pep Guardiola.
Despite all the statements from Juve directors, the Manchester City manager and most sports reporters, some continue to maintain Guardiola not only is in talks for a Bianconeri move, but already signed a pre-contract agreement in April.
However, one of those who has been most adamant about the Guardiola story – Luca Momblano – has slightly adjusted his approach this evening.
He appeared on TopCalcio24 television and claimed that while Guardiola was still the first choice, he is having difficulty negotiating his release from Manchester City.
Sarri is therefore on hold and just waiting for the all-clear to sign for Juventus, should Guardiola remain out of reach, as he seems intent on leaving Chelsea for a return to Serie A regardless.
Momblano even claims the Juventus social media team have been told to prepare two video packages, one if Sarri is the new Coach, another if Guardiola gets the job.

So Momblano can't be wrong if guardiola does not become juve coach

It seems to me Momblano cleverly realized he had the best excuse “City didn’t release Guardiola” so that when we announce Sarri he can’t get destroyed in social media. He gets the clicks and can get away with “City stopped it from happening but it was true”.

We’ll be seeing him changing his tune more and more each day until announcement

Guardiola: "Klopp? We have a nice rivalry, but not only with them. There are 5 very strong teams and that's why the Premier League is such a tough competition. Next season we'll start from scratch and we'll see what happens."
